"Yumm… it's so good!" Yor said, putting both hands on her cheeks after taking another bite of the seafood. Her eyes lit up with clear enjoyment.
"I told you, right?" Sonny replied with a small smile. He blew gently on his spoon filled with hot soup before drinking it slowly.
"It reminds me of how much Sara also loved it," I said while eating a shrimp. After a little crisp sound, the soft meat started melting in my mouth. The taste brought back old memories of the three of us sitting at this same place.
"Yeah… I know…" Ezra said casually, chewing his own food without looking up much.
"We should go out with her again sometime. We have not met that often ever since she got married," I continued. It really had been a long time since I last saw Sara. The last time we talked was just a phone call… the same day I had rejected Ezra. The thought made me let out a quiet sigh inside.
Suddenly an unwanted memory kicked in.
