"Ahhh… it hurts… jeez…" Ezra muttered while carefully rubbing his shoulders. Yor's punches had left a dull ache across his arms and upper back. He rolled one shoulder slowly, trying to ease the pain as he sat on the cold edge of the footpath.
A short distance away, Yor straightened her clothes. She pulled the top of her one-piece dress higher and tighter around her chest. The sudden movement made her tits jiggle slightly under the fabric before everything settled back into place. She let out a long sigh and brushed her hair to one side, leaving the side of her neck exposed to the night air.
"Pray to your God that I am even letting you breathe after what you said," Yor said in a tired but still sharp voice. She kept adjusting her hair, not looking directly at him.
"Yeah, yeah…" Ezra replied in a light, sarcastic tone. Even so, his eyes stayed on her for a quiet moment. The earlier anger between them had faded, leaving only the cool night and the soft glow of the streetlights.
