A violent, invisible force burst from Yue'er's tiny fist. Like a storm-tossed sea, the shockwave swept forward and crushed everything in its path.
The sky-full of leaf-blades were shredded to powder in an instant. Even the trees ahead tore up by the roots, hurled dozens of meters away by the gale of her punch.
"What—!"
Da Siming blanched, staring at the oncoming tempest.
Moments later, the grove had become a flattened clearing.
Da Siming and Shao Siming lay amid the wreckage, garments in tatters, pale skin flashing between torn cloth—half-hidden, half-revealed.
As the small figure approached, Da Siming's eyes trembled with disbelief. "Where… did a little monster like you come from?"
Shao Siming remained calmer, her clear eyes resting on Yue'er without a ripple.
"Heehee. I forgot to mention—my strongest art isn't Yin–Yang," Yue'er said, planting her feet and proudly lifting her tiny fists. "It's punching."
Even in the womb, Goku had bathed her in marrow-cleansing energies. After birth, rare treasures had been her daily fare, and he had taught her to command her qi. She looked small and adorable—but the power sealed inside her made "little monster" no exaggeration.
"Aiya! My little Yue'er—turn my back for one moment and you stir up trouble."
Goku's figure flickered into being. His gaze slid—quite naturally—over the two priestesses sprawled on the ground, lingering a beat at the pale skin peeking through torn silk. His eyes brightened despite himself.
"Big Brother Goku!"
Yue'er squealed and leapt into his arms.
He rubbed her cheek, amused. "Why'd you run out here alone—and make such a mess?"
"I sensed someone and came to look. They lured me here on purpose. They wanted to catch me… and draw you away from the manor!"
"Heh—so we meet again, Da Siming, Shao Siming," Goku said lightly as he stepped to them.
"Hmph, Goku."
Da Siming's tone was icy. Years ago they'd taken a bitter loss at his hands; to be beaten today by the girl at his side only stoked her fury. Behind her, her crimson left hand twitched—threads of eerie blood-light gathered at her fingertips, a breath of bluish haze rising… and then thinning to nothing.
Such tricks didn't escape Goku's eyes. He shook his head. "Don't bother. Your Yin–Yang curse seals don't work on me."
"What are you talking about?" Da Siming's voice was casual, but her scheme, so neatly exposed, did not ruffle her face.
"You really don't give up," Goku said. "Forget the subtle stuff. Why not use your strongest—Six-Soul Terror Curse—and see if it does anything?"
"Tch. Big words…" she snapped, though unease tugged at her heart. She refused to believe anyone could resist the Six-Soul Terror. She forced herself upright, fingers weaving seals—and unleashed the curse that others called inescapable.
Goku watched the weird miasma coalescing over her blood-crimson palm. Before she could cast it, he simply opened his mouth and inhaled—drawing the curse in and swallowing it whole.
Da Siming stared, stupefied. Goku smiled. "Anything else? Go on."
"Im… impossible…"
She could feel it clearly—the Six-Soul Terror she'd formed had been swallowed and snuffed out in an instant. The proof stood before her: Yin–Yang curse seals had no effect on this man. A chill crept through her bones.
"Who are you, really?" The leisure vanished from her face, replaced by grim weight. From the very start, they had underestimated him.
"I told you. Since I don't want you doing the Yin–Yang clan's dirty work anymore… from today on, you'll stay by my side."
"You want us to submit? Do you think that's possible?" Da Siming laughed coldly.
"Heehee—don't make Big Brother Goku angry," Yue'er sang. "Or he'll spank you."
"You don't get to refuse," Goku said, tone still mild. "That's an order."
He flicked a hand. Gentle light spilled over Da Siming and Shao Siming, washing away their wounds in the span of a breath.
Da Siming rose slowly, eyes flicking to her now-healed body. Shock flashed there—then wariness sharpened. This man was unfathomable, and before him, strength felt meaningless.
Shao Siming watched him too, calm mask unchanged, though a faint startlement stirred beneath. Injuries that severe, erased in an instant—such an art was unheard of.
The two exchanged a glance. In the next heartbeat, they leapt to flee—
"Did I say you could leave?"
Goku's gaze cooled. An invisible pressure fell over the grove like the sky itself dropping.
"—ngh!"
Mid-step, the priestesses crashed to the ground. The weight held them frozen. As Goku walked toward them, a primal fear rose—not of the mind, but of the soul. His eyes were knives; his presence, a mountain. Each step landed like thunder in their hearts. Before a god, mortals tremble.
"One more time," he said softly. "Will you follow me?"
The words carried a command that burrowed past thought. In their worldview of the cold Yin–Yang clan—where sentiment meant nothing and only strength ruled—overwhelming strength was the only language that compelled.
"…Yes, Lord Goku."
Da Siming and Shao Siming sank to one knee, heads bowed. Under divine pressure, there was no resistance left—only submission etched to the marrow.
Goku nodded. He hadn't preferred this path. But with women as ruthless and emotionless as these, kindness was a knife to your own throat. For such people, only power taught obedience. The rest—training—could come with time.
"So this is why it's noisy here—you two again," came a cool voice.
Xue Nu and the others approached. Seeing Da Siming and Shao Siming behind Goku, their eyes flickered with surprise. "What's going on? Why are they here?"
"Their target was Yue'er. They meant to use her to draw me away," Goku said.
"Then it's begun," Nongyu murmured, glancing at the priestesses.
"So it seems," Goku answered.
Da Siming and Shao Siming—the Yin–Yang clan's elites—here at Mirror Lake. Duanmu Rong stepped forward, face solemn. "In that case, we can't remain at the manor."
"To think Miss Yue'er, at such a young age, could fight the Yin–Yang clan's top two to a standstill… her gift may be unmatched in this age," Gai Nie said, awe in his voice—he had arrived first and witnessed the whole exchange.
"She… beat them?" Duanmu Rong and Master Ban stared at Yue'er, eyes wide.
"N-no… It was all Big Brother Goku's teaching," Yue'er said, flushing as everyone stared.
"How will you handle them?" Chi Lian's voice was silk as she drifted up beside Goku, every glance a snare.
"Leave them to you," Goku said lightly with a wave.
"Fufufu… as you command." Heat flickered in Chi Lian's bewitching eyes. Da Siming, watching, felt a prickle of instinctive caution.
On the way back, Gai Nie fell in step with Goku and bowed. "Sir Goku, may I have a word?"
"Fine."
Goku nodded to Yue'er and the others. "Head back first." They departed, leaving the two men alone in the quiet path.
"Speak," Goku said. "What is it you want?"
