Chapter 263 - Chapter 262: Combined Forces

As the crimson beams streaked toward him in the blink of an eye, Xing Hun's expression grew grave. In an instant, he shifted his body technique to evade the deadly barrage of bloodlight. Moving swiftly, his hands crossed, condensing two devastating blades of qi in an "X" shape, which slashed down toward Da Siming with blinding speed—almost faster than sight itself.

"Condensing Qi into Blade... at fifty percent power, no less. Lord Xing Hun, I'm flattered you take me so seriously,"

Da Siming sneered coldly, though her movements were sharp and precise, showing no hesitation. As if she had already anticipated this, she dodged to the left just as the twin blades were unleashed—barely escaping their lethal arc.

But even with her evasion, the residual pressure from the blades was overwhelming. The shockwave struck her like a hammer, blasting her backward. She landed hard, coughing blood as a crimson line appeared at the corner of her lips.

A cold gleam flickered in Xing Hun's eyes. Qi flared violently between his palms—he was about to unleash a killing strike.

However, before he could release it, he sensed a terrifying gust of force surging toward him from behind. He immediately abandoned the attack and flashed aside. A moment later, razor-sharp leaves, carrying the sound of slicing wind, shot past where he had been standing.

From the opposite side of the battlefield, Shao Siming had joined the fight. Using her exceptional lightness skill, she didn't engage Yun Zhongjun head-on. Instead, countless green leaves filled the air, each carrying lethal energy, striking like volleys of flying daggers. The force behind them was enough to pierce stone, forcing Yun Zhongjun into constant retreat, unable to counterattack effectively.

Wiping away the thin cut on his cheek from the flying leaves, Xing Hun's expression darkened.

"Now's not the time to be angry,"

Da Siming's voice, cold and sharp as a blade, rang in his ears. A thick wave of blood mist surged toward him like a crimson tide. Within it, countless beams of bloodlight formed, bursting out like arrows and showering toward the cornered Xing Hun.

"Damn it!"

His face turned grim. The relentless barrage of bloodlight gave him no chance to gather energy for his next strike.

"Hehe... Lord Xing Hun, I know your 'Condensed Qi Blade' all too well,"

Da Siming's voice rang mockingly through the swirling mist.

"Its power is terrifying—but without time to gather your qi, it's useless!"

The crimson sea rolled toward him, wave after wave of killing light.

---

Meanwhile, on the other side of the battlefield, the air screamed with the sound of slicing leaves.

Under Shao Siming's control, the green blades danced like a storm of knives. Guided by her slender fingers, each leaf moved with deadly precision, forcing Yun Zhongjun to constantly dodge. Every impact sent explosions of dust and shattered rock into the air. It was hard to believe that such tiny leaves could wield such terrifying destructive power.

"Hah... this Shao Siming truly lives up to her reputation,"

Yun Zhongjun muttered, his expression tightening.

"If I don't get serious, I might actually be in trouble."

In a flash, his figure blurred. A cold light flickered as a longsword appeared in his hand. Instead of retreating, he lunged forward, his sword spinning into a dense storm of blade flowers, slashing apart the incoming leaves. Then, channeling his internal energy, he unleashed a concentrated arc of sword qi that roared toward Shao Siming.

Shao Siming's face remained calm, her eyes serene as still water.

Her slender fingers drew a perfect circle before her, and in that instant, countless green leaves materialized from the air. They streaked forward like arrows, colliding with the incoming sword qi.

A brilliant light flared at the collision, and the two forces canceled each other out in midair. But while Yun Zhongjun's sword qi came in a single burst, Shao Siming's attack was endless. The rain of leaves never ceased.

"Tch... she's mastered Ten Thousand Leaves Flowing Bloom to this extent? How troublesome,"

Yun Zhongjun muttered grimly as he dodged again and again.

He dared not unleash his full strength—too many were watching from the sidelines. The presence of men like Gai Nie, the legendary "Sword Saint," made him wary. If he overextended himself and revealed too much, it could cost him dearly.

As he hesitated, a muffled grunt from the other side caught his attention. His eyes snapped toward the sound—just in time to see Xing Hun blasted backward, a flood of bloodlight slamming into him. He skidded across the ground for ten meters before coming to a stop, blood staining his chest.

"Oh? Da Siming actually managed to wound Xing Hun?"

Yun Zhongjun's eyes widened in disbelief.

---

Xing Hun looked down at the blood on his chest, his gaze lifting toward Da Siming, cold and venomous.

"Good. Very good. Da Siming, it seems I've underestimated you. I had no intention of killing you, for the sake of old loyalty... but since you insist on seeking death, I'll grant your wish."

"Condensed Qi Blade—eighty percent power!"

His voice boomed through the valley. Qi burst violently from his palms, condensing into a radiant blade. His killing intent surged skyward—this time, there would be no mercy.

The power radiating from Xing Hun's blade was immense, its energy waves tearing at the air itself.

Da Siming's expression changed drastically. She knew that even with her full strength, she could never withstand an eighty-percent Condensed Qi Blade alone.

"That power... even Da Siming won't be able to block it,"

Gai Nie said quietly, his tone grave. He turned to Goku.

"Sir, should we intervene?"

"No need. Let's wait and see,"

Goku replied calmly, his arms folded.

Gai Nie nodded and returned his gaze to the battlefield.

"For an ordinary human, that Xing Hun fellow's not bad,"

Chi Lian said lazily. "That's quite the blade."

"Its strength is impressive,"

Nongyu added softly, "but if he exceeds what his body can bear, it'll backfire. Best case, severe injury; worst case, his meridians will shatter."

Shao Siming cast a brief glance toward Xing Hun, then leapt away from Yun Zhongjun. In a flash, she landed beside Da Siming. The two women exchanged a single look—no words were needed.

They raised their hands together, their yin and yang energies merging.

Before them, a massive Taiji Diagram formed—half red, half gold—spinning rapidly as its power surged.

"Hmph! You think your combined strength can stop my eighty-percent qi blade? Ridiculous!"

Xing Hun's voice rang out coldly. He swung his arms, and the immense blade roared forth, its power like a storm, carving a path through stone and air alike.

The blade struck the Taiji Diagram head-on.

BOOM!

Light exploded. The ground trembled violently as energy waves tore across the battlefield. Rocks shattered; the very air seemed to scream under the pressure.

"So... strong..."

Tianming gaped in awe, completely stunned.

Though Xing Hun's raw power was immense, he was facing two of the Yin–Yang clan's finest working in perfect unison.

Their techniques intertwined seamlessly—the synergy of Yin and Yang amplifying their strength beyond measure.

The red-and-gold Taiji Diagram blazed brighter and brighter before it pushed forward, absorbing the blow. In the next moment, the mighty qi blade shattered into a rain of blue light, dispersing harmlessly into the air.

The diagram flickered once, then faded away—its energy spent.

Both Da Siming and Shao Siming were left breathing heavily, sweat beading on their foreheads. Blocking Xing Hun's full-force strike had clearly taken its toll. Yet Xing Hun himself wasn't much better off; his hands trembled faintly, the backlash from his own technique evident.

Then a cold voice came from behind the two women.

"Heh... it seems you've forgotten about me."

A streak of sword qi flashed through the air—Yun Zhongjun's ambush. His blade forced Da Siming back as he lunged straight for Shao Siming's heart. Of the two, she was the greater threat, and he meant to eliminate her first.

The two women were still recovering their strength—there was no time to defend. The sword thrust forward like lightning.

Even as the blade neared her chest, Shao Siming's face remained calm. She twisted slightly, avoiding a fatal blow—but the sword would still pierce her chest, leaving a deep wound.

"Damn it!"

Da Siming's eyes widened. She tried to intervene, but it was too late—the sword was already inches away.

Clang!

A sharp metallic sound rang out.

A large hand suddenly appeared out of thin air—two fingers pinched the blade, stopping it dead in its tracks. No matter how Yun Zhongjun strained, he couldn't move it an inch.

It was as if his sword had been caught not by a man—but by an immovable mountain.

"They're my people,"

Goku said softly, his voice calm yet carrying an undeniable weight.

"If they get hurt... I'll be very upset."

His fingers tightened slightly.

Crack!

The sword snapped cleanly in half.

"What—what?!"

Yun Zhongjun's eyes widened in shock.

"Goodbye,"

Goku said with a faint smile. He flicked his fingers.

The broken half of the blade shot forward like a bullet, piercing straight through Yun Zhongjun's chest. A strangled cry escaped his lips as he was thrown backward, his body crashing into a stone wall and hanging there like a pinned insect. Blood spilled freely down the rock.

Xing Hun's face drained of color. In an instant, he retreated several steps, staring at Goku with a mix of shock and fear.

---

High above the clouds, standing atop the back of a massive white bird, Beifeng and Mo Ya witnessed everything below. Both of their eyes reflected the same disbelief.

Mo Ya sighed deeply.

"Lord Goku is as unfathomable as ever... One strike, and his enemies fall. Whoever opposes him... is doomed."

"From the moment they stood before him, their fate was sealed,"

Beifeng replied evenly, his tone calm and cold.

"Still," Mo Ya chuckled, shaking his head, "to think even Da Siming and Shao Siming have submitted to Lord Goku... Truly enviable."
