Blinding white light burst forth. The Sekirei crests at the napes of Hikari and Hibiki flared, unfolding two exquisitely radiant wings of light.
Lightning roared down in torrents—thunder dancing madly—as countless bolts wrapped Goku and the twins in a storm of crackling brilliance.
Mitsuha, who had just raised her whip to stop the winging, was swallowed by the lightning. With a shriek, she was charred from head to toe, eyes wide, and collapsed—unconscious, her systems clearly offline.
"Th-this kind of winging… isn't it a bit excessive?" Mutsu swallowed hard. Even he felt a jolt of dread. "This is bad. I'm leaving."
He cast a brief glance at Mitsuha—now as black as charcoal—shook his head, and bounded away. A Sekirei whose functions had ceased was useless to them.
Moments later, the lightning faded and the glow died down. In the clearing stood Hikari and Hibiki, newly winged—Goku pinned between them where they'd pushed him down.
"Count yourself lucky you ran," Hikari huffed, folding her arms. "Another second and I'd have fried you to cinders."
Then both women turned back to Goku, eyes bright with joy. "We finally found you… our Ashikabi." They wrapped him up again, and, nestled between one ample and one modest softness, Goku felt himself going pleasantly light-headed.
---
"The crest is gone… her functions have stopped," the twins murmured as they looked at Mitsuha. Their expressions were complicated. "This is a Sekirei's fate—lose once, and you're separated from your Ashikabi forever."
"That will never happen to either of you," Goku said, pulling them into his arms—his tone absolute, even arrogant. "Because you're my Sekirei."
"That's right! We won't lose," the twins answered, eyes firm. "We've sealed a vow of love. We'll stay with Goku forever. Anyone who dares block our happiness—we'll smash them to pieces!"
"Then let's do it together," Goku said. "We'll beat every opponent and stand atop the Sky Tower."
He glanced down at Mitsuha. 'In the original story she went and challenged Karasuba and got instantly destroyed, didn't she? And now she's been knocked offline by your winging's lightning. What a tragic girl… Still, this scene is… kind of adorable. Heh.'
The serious look on his face melted into something far more roguish.
At once, jealousy flickered across the twins' brows. Dark aura incoming.
"Unforgivable," they snapped in unison. "You already vowed yourself to us—how dare you react to another woman!"
Electric arcs snapped from their hands and crashed over Goku with a barrage of crackle-crackle-crackle.
"Oh? You two dare attack your own Master? Sounds like someone needs discipline."
Sparks danced across him, but Goku didn't even twitch. With a wicked grin, he lunged, toppling both women at once—one in each hand.
"H-How is he completely fine…?"
"G-Goku—w-what are you doing? We were wrong—ah! Not there!"
They tumbled into a decidedly affectionate tangle—until, inevitably, someone spoiled the mood.
The whir of wings rose overhead. A dozen fighter jets streaked toward them.
"MBI," Hikari said, frowning. She glanced at Mitsuha. "They've come to retrieve this 'wing.'"
"Retrieve, huh? Perfect timing to ruin everything." Goku sighed, reluctantly withdrawing his wandering hands on their ass. He looked up, voice turning cold. "Trash. Get back where you came from."
The words rolled out like a command spell.
"…What did we come out here for again?"
"I can't remember. Maybe… nothing?"
"Strange. Why are we out?"
"Whatever. If there's nothing, let's head back."
Inside their cockpits, MBI's pilots stared at each other in collective confusion. With no idea what had happened, they turned their jets around and flew away.
"They… went back?" Hibiki gaped at the retreating formation.
"W-What did you do to them?" Hikari stared at Goku. She'd only heard him say, "Trash, get back," and then the jets simply left.
"That's a special ability of mine," Goku said with a chuckle. "Impressed?"
"Special ability? Humans have those?" the twins asked, more curious than shocked.
"What about her?" Hibiki pointed at Mitsuha, lips pursed in a jealous pout. She shot Hikari a sideways look—part envy, part grievance. Goku had squeezed Hikari, but not her. Obviously unfair.
"…We take her home, of course," Goku said. He released Hikari, knelt by Mitsuha, and waved a hand. The carbon-blackened skin cleared at once to healthy pink—though her clothes, long since reduced to charcoal, did not reappear.
A bead of white light formed at Goku's fingertip; with a flick, it shot into Mitsuha's brow.
"Hikari, what's he doing?"
"How should I know? Watch and see."
Within moments, the offline Sekirei stirred. Under the twins' astonished gaze, Mitsuha's life returned; her eyes fluttered open.
"A-Aah! You lecher! What are you trying to do to me?!"
Seeing Goku, then glancing down at herself, she screamed and snapped a high kick at his face.
Goku froze for half a second at the view. Seriously? You cover the top, not the bottom—and then try to kick me? What are we doing here?
"Hmph! Hurt my Goku and you die," Hikari said coolly. Lightning cracked from her hand. Amid a yelp, Mitsuha was zapped crispy once more and collapsed.
"S-So strong…" Mitsuha gasped, one hand clapped to her chest, eyes wide.
"Ugh… I hate this," Hibiki muttered darkly, stepping forward with her palm bladed. Electricity crawled along her hand as she glared at Mitsuha's chest with murderous resentment.
"Hibiki… what are you doing?" Hikari asked, suddenly worried at her sister's blackening mood.
"Big chests are the worst. I'm going to split hers with one strike so she'll never breastfeed anyone again!"
"W-Wait—no! You psycho!" Mitsuha blanched, scrambling backward in terror.
---
"Enough, Hibiki. Don't," Goku said, pulling her into his arms with a calm smile. "For the record, the petite kind is a rare treasure too." He punctuated it with a light squeeze.
"Mmh… figures the big ones do feel better in the hand…"
"That's it—I'm done!" Hibiki snapped, going full black mode. "Don't stop me! I'm carving her flat!"
Lightning hissed from her palm as she lunged at Mitsuha.
"Help! Somebody hold that maniac!" Mitsuha cried, arms clamped over her chest as she fled through a hail of crackling bolts—stumbling, shrieking, and very nearly in tears. Hibiki chased relentlessly, hurling blasts like mini thunderbombs and cackling with bloodthirsty glee.
"Are you just going to watch?" Hikari said dryly, arms folded as she side-eyed Goku. "If you don't stop Hibiki, she will shave Mitsuha flat."
