Chapter 77 - 77. Kill Him

A delivery rider was on his way to make a drop-off when something unusual caught his eye. He slowed down instinctively, squinting as he took in the scene ahead. "Wait a minute… isn't he the guy bro asked us to find?" he muttered under his breath, a hint of curiosity and tension creeping into his voice.

Carefully, he pulled out his smartphone, angling it just enough to capture the moment without drawing attention. His thumb hovered for a second before he snapped a quick photo, making sure the flash was off.

The faint glow of the screen reflected briefly in his eyes as he tapped and sent it to his friend, his expression tightening as he looked back at the unfolding situation.

Back where Gin Chu Won stood with his men, the atmosphere was thick with hostility. They had Shan Wolf and Rae Yoorin cornered, forming a loose circle around them.

The metallic glint of knives and clubs, the dull weight of pipes, and the jagged edges of sickles caught the dim light, making the threat unmistakable.

Rae Yoorin instinctively stepped closer behind Shan Wolf, her fingers curling slightly as tension gripped her body.

"That cuckhead," Gin Chu Won sneered as he stepped forward, his lips curling in disdain.

His eyes locked onto Shan Wolf with barely concealed rage. "You were acting so high and mighty when you were just a playboy all along. On top of that, you were just screwing some hoes in offices."

He paced slowly, circling just enough to assert dominance, his boots scraping lightly against the ground.

Each step was deliberate, his presence pressing down like a weight. "I was waiting out here out of boredom, you know," he continued, his tone dripping with mockery. "Though I'm surprised you live in a penthouse. What, you got a sugar mommy, or did you just become a gigolo?"

He closed the distance, stopping right in front of Shan Wolf. The two stood face to face, their foreheads nearly touching, breaths heavy and sharp.

The tension between them was palpable, like a spark waiting to ignite. Shan Wolf didn't move, his gaze unwavering, his jaw set tight as Rae Yoorin remained just behind him, her eyes darting nervously at the men surrounding them.

Gin Chu Won let out a low chuckle, tilting his head slightly as if savoring the moment. "You saved us a lot of trouble coming out here," he said, his voice lowering into something more dangerous. "I was wondering how we were going to put you in an isolated place."

Shan Wolf's gaze shifted slightly past Gin Chu Won's shoulder, his eyes narrowing just a fraction as he caught sight of a masked figure standing still among the group.

The figure had the outline of a woman, slim yet composed, but something about her presence felt off.

It wasn't just her posture or the way she carried herself, it was something deeper, something that made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. She's not from here, he thought quietly, his instincts sharpening.

"Hoo? Looking at that hooded girl, huh?" Gin Chu Won said, noticing the shift in Shan Wolf's focus.

A crooked grin spread across his face as he followed his line of sight. "I paid good money to bring her here to Seoul. Said something about her profile being a mercenary and shit." He chuckled, clearly pleased with himself. "Got her as security from you after what you did to my neck back then."

He rolled his shoulders slightly, as if recalling the past injury, though the smirk never left his face.

"But back to the matter at hand."

Gin Chu Won turned back fully, his expression twisting into something uglier. He leaned in again, his movements exaggerated, almost theatrical, as he lifted his hand and began poking Shan Wolf's forehead with his index finger. Each jab carried mockery, an attempt to provoke, to get under his skin.

"What are you so confident about when you're the same breed as me?" he sneered, his voice rising. "You fuck bitches like me, we're both nothing but sex-crazed maniacs. Foolish prick."

Shan Wolf didn't react. His face remained still, eyes calm and unreadable, as if the words meant nothing. Inside, there was only a cold, quiet thought. Is he seriously an idiot?

The moment stretched for a heartbeat too long.

Then it snapped.

In a flash, Shan Wolf's hand shot up, gripping Gin Chu Won's wrist with precise force. Before anyone could react, he twisted sharply. A sickening crack echoed through the air as the joint gave way, the motion clean and merciless.

"GUAAH!!!" Gin Chu Won screamed, his body jerking back as pain exploded through his arm. His face contorted, all arrogance instantly replaced with raw agony as he stumbled backward, clutching his broken hand.

"What are you guys doing?!" he roared, his voice shaking with fury and pain. "Fucking beat the living shit out of him, fuck his girl, and kill them both!!!"

The men lunged forward all at once, boots scraping harshly against the ground as the circle collapsed in on Shan Wolf.

One of them swung a metal baseball club with a grunt, the weapon cutting through the air with a sharp whistle, but it missed by inches as Shan Wolf moved.

In the same motion, Shan Wolf grabbed Gin Chu Won and swung him like a body bag. The impact was brutal, Gin Chu Won's body slamming into his own men with a heavy thud, knocking them off balance as they staggered and crashed into each other. A few cursed loudly, their formation instantly breaking apart.

"Where did he go?!" one of them shouted, panic slipping into his voice as he looked around wildly.

Their eyes darted in every direction, confusion spreading as Shan Wolf vanished from their sight.

"Behind you, you fools!!!" Gin Chu Won yelled, his voice strained and furious, clutching his broken hand as he tried to warn them.

But it was already too late.

Shan Wolf moved like a shadow, appearing behind them without a sound. His strikes were swift and precise, each blow landing with controlled force.

A sharp hit to the back of the head, another to the jaw, and one by one, they dropped unconscious before they could even react.

More men rushed in, shouting as they charged, but Shan Wolf met them head-on without hesitation. His breathing remained steady, his expression cold, as he took them on one by one.

Every movement was efficient, every strike deliberate, as if he had already calculated the outcome.

On the side, the black figure remained still. She didn't interfere, didn't speak. Her eyes followed Shan Wolf closely, studying every movement, every shift in weight, every decision he made in combat.

There was a quiet intensity in her gaze, as if she wasn't just watching a fight, but analyzing him.

At the same time, Jo Kin Kon was on his bike, with Kim Yeon Mikage seated behind him, her arms loosely around his waist.

The low hum of the engine vibrated beneath them as they cut through the streets. His phone buzzed suddenly, the sharp vibration catching his attention.

He slowed slightly, pulling it out with one hand and glancing at the message. His eyes narrowed almost instantly.

Soon enough, he dialed his friends. "It's me, we found that pedophile," he said bluntly, his tone cold and direct. Without waiting for a reply, he ended the call and slipped the phone back.

He turned his head slightly, looking over his shoulder at Kim Yeon Mikage.

She was still wearing the same costume from the club incident, the fabric slightly worn but unchanged.

Her expression, however, was what unsettled him. There was no spark in her eyes, no emotion, just a hollow, distant look, as if something inside her had gone missing.

Jo Kin Kon gritted his teeth behind closed lips, his jaw tightening as he faced forward again. Without another word, he twisted the throttle, the bike roaring louder as he sped toward the location.

Back where Shan Wolf stood facing Gin Chu Won's men, the ground was littered with bodies. One by one, he had taken them down, each lying unconscious. He had held back, deliberately avoiding killing blows, though his breathing had grown heavier.

"Rae, run while you still got a chance," he said, his voice firm despite the strain.

Rae Yoorin shook her head immediately, her hands trembling slightly as she checked his injuries, her eyes already glossed with tears. "How could I leave you alone?" she said, her voice breaking.

"Call the fucking police and get the hell out of here now!!!" Shan Wolf shouted.

Before he could say anything more, a fist slammed into his face from the side. His head snapped slightly, but he responded instantly, driving a heavier punch back into the attacker, dropping him hard.

But his body was starting to give out.

More men groaned as they got back up, anger replacing their earlier hesitation. They rushed him together this time, closing the distance quickly. Shan Wolf tried to hold them off, his movements still sharp but slower now, his strength fading.

They overwhelmed him.

Grabbing, pulling, striking, they forced him down to the ground.

Rae Yoorin was caught in the middle of the chaos, shoved and nearly knocked over as the men swarmed. Panic filled her eyes as she struggled to reach him.

"What a fuckery this is," Gin Chu Won muttered, watching the scene with irritation rather than concern. "Grab him up properly."

The men obeyed, lifting Shan Wolf up and restraining him, holding his arms tightly despite his resistance.

"These days, it's hard to fire somebody because of workers' rights and shit. And I hate stooping down to your level," Gin Chu Won said, rolling his neck slightly as he spoke.

He then turned toward the hooded figure.

"Oi, you do the honor," he said, gesturing lazily toward Shan Wolf.

The hooded woman stepped forward without hesitation. She reached up and pulled back her hood, revealing white hair that fell smoothly around her shoulders, pale skin almost as white as snow, and a distinct beauty mark on her left cheek. Her expression was calm, almost detached.

"Kill him, and make sure his body is never to be found. Include the bitch as well," Gin Chu Won added as he walked past her, already assuming the job would be done.

The woman lowered herself slightly, her gaze fixed on Shan Wolf. Then she spoke, her voice soft but clear, in a foreign language.

"Why are you holding back?" she said in Russian.

Gin Chu Won stopped mid-step. His brow furrowed as he turned around, confusion mixing with suspicion.

"Oi, I know a bit of Russian. What do you mean when you said he's holding back?" Gin Chu Won asked, staring at the hooded woman.

Just as Gin Chu Won was about to press further, the distant roar of engines began to rise. At first, it was faint, but it grew louder by the second, until it filled the entire area.

A group of motorbike gangs pulled in, surrounding Gin Chu Won and his men from all sides. Their formation was tight and deliberate, engines idling aggressively as headlights flared on all at once, flooding the scene with blinding light. For a moment, it felt like daylight had crashed into the night.

The men instinctively shielded their eyes, tension spiking as the situation shifted again.

From the front line of bikes, one figure slowly stepped forward. The sound of boots against the ground was steady, unhurried.

It was Jon Kin Kon.

"Really now…" he began, tilting his head slightly as he glanced at the scene before him, his tone laced with disappointment. "I was thinking this pedophile was some executive director in some major company." He let out a quiet scoff, shaking his head faintly. "But it doesn't matter, because you're pulling dick moves, old man."

Gin Chu Won's eyes narrowed, irritation immediately surfacing as he sized him up.

"Oi, who the fuck is this?" he snapped, glancing at his men.

"Looks like a kid," one of them muttered, clearly underestimating the situation.

Another stepped forward slightly, waving his hand dismissively at Jon Kin Kon.

"Hey, fuck off while we're still in a good mood," he shouted, his voice filled with arrogance.

Jon Kin Kon remained unfazed, his expression barely shifting as he looked at the men in front of him. "Looks like shitheads don't know how fucking scary this world is," he said calmly, his voice carrying a quiet threat.

One by one, the bikers swung their legs off their rides, boots hitting the ground in unison. The sound echoed with intent. They reached into their bikes, pulling out whatever they had, wrenches, metal rods, clubs, anything they could grip tight. The air grew heavier as the balance of power began to tilt.

"Good job finding them, bro," Jon Kin Kon said, glancing briefly toward the delivery rider.

"Anytime, bro. Now I'mma scoot, gotta make that delivery," the rider replied, already backing away. He didn't wait another second, revving his engine before disappearing from the scene.

Jon Kin Kon shifted his attention back, then softened his tone slightly. "Hey, it's okay. You can come out now."

From behind the line of bikes, Kim Yeon Mikage stepped forward slowly. Her movements were hesitant, almost mechanical, as if she were being pulled forward by something she couldn't resist. The same outfit from before clung to her, unchanged, but her face remained empty, hollow.

Jon Kin Kon looked at her, his brows tightening just slightly. "Why are you hiding when this old fuck did all this shit to you, princess? It's that guy, right?"

Kim Yeon's eyes drifted toward Gin Chu Won. There was no anger, no fear, just a blank stillness as she stared at him.

"Yeah…" she muttered softly, confirming it.

Jon Kin Kon nodded once, then looked back at her, his voice steady. "Tell me how you want this to go down, princess."

For a moment, everything seemed to pause. The tension, the noise, even the breathing around them felt distant.

Kim Yeon didn't look away from Gin Chu Won. Her expression didn't change, not even slightly.

Then she spoke, expressionless and what she said those two words could change her future forever.

"Kill him."
