It didn't take long for the group to encounter their second group of magic beasts. After what happened the last time, the group didn't wander too far into the canyon. They stopped walking and sat down to rest after just a few minutes.
Sure enough, a group of yellow-clawed beasts showed up just after Alex and the others sat down. This time, there were only five of them and all of them were at the common beast rank, the group could easily take care of them.

The five creatures dashed at the group of humans while waving their sharp single claws in the air in anticipation of human flesh.
Sarah and the others immediately got up, ready to deal with these magic beasts. Mana burst out of their bodies while stars of different elements appeared around them.

But before any of them could completely form a star pattern, Alex's calm voice rang in their ears as two dazzling silver-white star patterns appeared above them, facing the incoming beasts.
