Chapter 654 - Chapter 653: Katsuyu's Healing

The guard's mind raced. That meant the person before him was...

"My apologies, Naori-sama, I meant no offense! Please, hurry inside!"

Seeing his terrified reaction, Naori waved her hand at him. "There's no need to panic. We're here to support the Central City, so it's normal that you haven't seen us. You were just doing your duty, so please keep it up."

Following that, the group entered the Central City. Thanks to the Cloud Orb that Torifu provided, none of them had gotten wet on the journey, and their clothes were still relatively clean. The moment they entered the city, the Konoha ninjas immediately cheered!

"It's Naori-sama! That's Naori-sama!"

Hearing the shouts, more and more Konoha ninjas gathered around! Their clothes were still damaged, and some of their wounds hadn't even fully healed, but upon seeing Naori and the others arrive, they forgot their pain. They all flocked over.

"Naori-sama, and Tsunade-hime, and the clan heads! Did you all come to help us?"

"I can't believe Naori-sama came personally! Why am I so excited?"

Soon, Naori was completely surrounded, with everyone warmly welcoming her and the others.

"Now that Naori-sama is here, those Kage-level enemies in the deep regions will surely be easily taken care of!"

"Exactly! And with the clan heads as well, our mission should be finished very soon. I really hope we can go home quickly."

Seeing how lively the street was, ninjas from the other villages also gathered, though some were momentarily unaware of what was happening. When they realized that reinforcement from Konoha had arrived, and it was none other than the Hokage's wife, they were all astonished. If the Hokage's wife was personally coming to the battlefield, when would their village's support arrive?

"Everyone, please step back first and don't block the road. I see many of you still have unhealed wounds. After I report to the Hokage, I will have the medical ninjas treat you all." Naori said to the enthusiastic ninjas. She deeply understood their current state of mind. With her arrival, they should feel much more at ease.

Naori and the others arrived at the office building amidst the crowd's well-wishes. The medical ninjas remained downstairs. Naori, Tsunade, and the clan heads went up.

Pushing open the office door, they found only Torifu's clone inside. "You're here, Naori. I was just wondering when you'd arrive."

Naori nodded. "I ate something on the way to replenish my stamina; otherwise, I would have been faster." Before Torifu could speak, Naori immediately asked, "Your healing jutsu should be enough to cure these ninjas, shouldn't it? Why did I see so many ninjas with only simple wound treatment?"

Torifu waved his hand helplessly. "I'm a clone, not the original body. The original body has a massive amount of Chakra, but the clone's is limited." After arriving at the Central City, Torifu first moved the rain clouds a few kilometers outside the city and has been continuously consuming Chakra to maintain them. He also created small Cloud Orbs for the ten thousand people in the city and performed a rough survey of the entire Land of Rain. He had some Chakra left, but not much. If he were to use large-scale healing jutsu, he wouldn't be prepared to handle any sudden emergencies. Furthermore, most of the injured ninjas in the city had only superficial wounds and didn't require healing jutsu. Torifu had immediately assigned medical ninjas to those with serious injuries. The ninjas currently awaiting treatment had very minor injuries. They could basically run and jump without issue; they just needed their wounds disinfected and bandaged.

Hearing Torifu's explanation, Naori reluctantly accepted it.

"Alright. Just allocate the tasks we need to do. We'll execute them tomorrow." Naori seemed quite eager. It had been a long time since she'd fought anyone, which had led Konoha to think of her as an elegant lady.

Torifu briefly assigned tasks to everyone. Each of them was responsible for one direction, and the mission was to kill all the enemies in that area. This was not a difficult task for Kage-level ninjas to complete in a day.

"Good. The ninjas can also execute missions normally tomorrow. It wouldn't be too much for me to go along with the ninjas, would it?" The strategy was perfect: the ninjas would help Naori clear out the weaker targets, and Naori would take on the Kage-level enemies.

Torifu glanced at Naori and nodded helplessly. "You arrange it however you like. There are no restrictions, as long as you complete the mission on time. But remember, you must ensure zero friendly casualties."

"Understood!"

These few Kage-level ninjas from Konoha were certainly not enough to deal with all the Kage-level enemies in the Land of Rain, but support from Sunagakure and Iwagakure would arrive soon. He didn't know how many Kage-level ninjas they had sent or what their strength was like.

The main business was concluded, and the tasks had been assigned. As for accommodations, they would be assigned apartments, just like Jiraiya and the others. The two ladies, Tsunade and Naori, would stay in one apartment with Torifu. The remaining clan heads would stay in a separate apartment.

The Central City certainly wasn't short on empty houses. Some people who came here to do business or intended to settle down immediately packed up and fled when they heard a war was coming. There were plenty of empty houses left, which could be used to house the arriving medical ninjas.

"If you two have time, you can go visit Jiraiya and the others. Minato and the four kids might be missing you a bit."

Naori pondered for a moment before finally nodding. "Alright. But I probably won't go for now. We all need a good night's rest." Even if they missed her, Naori didn't particularly miss them. After all, they were older children, in their teens, and it was time for them to venture out on their own. She decided to let them gain experience and did not plan to interfere with them. As for safety, with Jiraiya by their side, Naori felt they wouldn't face any danger. The ones in danger were those Kage-level enemies; tomorrow would be their final day.

After a brief chat, Naori led Tsunade and the others out. When they reached downstairs, the medical ninjas had already started treating the ninjas voluntarily. However, the long line stretched on, with no end in sight. It would likely be the middle of the night by the time they finished treating everyone, and they still needed to find accommodation for these medical ninjas.

Seeing this, Tsunade immediately bit her finger and swiftly formed hand signs. "Summoning Jutsu!"

A huge, white slug appeared amidst a cloud of thick smoke in the city! Following this, a green light radiated from its body, and the wounds of all the ninjas it touched began to heal.
