Chapter 734 - Chapter 733: The Concept of a Parallel World

Torifu couldn't immediately imagine the scene that would unfold when the Minato of the original world saw a Minato whose life trajectory was basically the same but whose experience was entirely different. However, these were not the pressing matters.

The pressing issue was how to explain the concept of a parallel world to Minato and the others and get them to accept it.

After all, it was rather mystical. They hadn't even fully explored this world, yet Torifu was telling them he had discovered another world that was virtually identical.

They would probably think Torifu was joking.

But regardless, Torifu had to find a way to convince them. If he went alone, he could easily resolve the Nine-Tails Rampage.

After all, the Nine-Tails was nothing to the current Torifu.

But that would be no fun. Torifu was currently idle every day, doing nothing but basking in the sun.

Now that the System had forcibly issued this Chaos Event, Torifu had to find some way to have fun.

Perhaps the two Minatos might even become friends.

Becoming friends with oneself sounded quite fascinating.

The Nine-Tails Rampage was scheduled to begin in two days, so Torifu had to quickly confirm the personnel and use a reasonable excuse to tell them about the parallel world.

And make sure they could accept it.

Torifu could only say it was quite a challenge, and he could only try his best.

After clarifying his thoughts, Torifu descended from the sky and returned to the rocking chair.

The first person he planned to tell was Naori.

Naori was the Mistress of the Kumotsuru Clan, and the spatial teleportation gate was left behind by the Kumotsuru Clan's ancestor. Although it had been modified by the System, it still belonged to the Kumotsuru Clan.

So, Naori certainly had the right to know, and Torifu had promised her long ago that he would let her know when the time was right. Now was the time.

Torifu called Naori over and then cast a barrier to isolate their voices.

"What is it? Why are you being so secretive? Did you do something with a guilty conscience?"

Naori immediately hit him with a barrage of questions, making Torifu a little flustered. "Oh, what are you talking about!"

"Do you remember that time seven years ago when I went out alone, saying I had to execute a mission that would take a minimum of a day and a maximum of a week?"

Naori thought back. It seemed there was such a thing, but she vaguely recalled that Torifu had returned very quickly.

"I remember. Why?"

It was good that she remembered, and Torifu smiled. "What I'm about to tell you might sound somewhat fantastical, but I can assure you that it is all true."

"And it also concerns the origin of the Kumotsuru Clan. I hope you, as the Mistress, will listen carefully."

Naori hadn't expected the matter to be so serious and immediately sat up straight.

"Alright, I understand. Go ahead and tell me."

Seeing Naori so cooperative, Torifu began to speak, giving a very comprehensive account.

He started from when he accidentally obtained the map, then moved to finding the marked location, discovering the ancestral courtyard, accidentally activating the teleportation gate, and being informed of the clan's origin by the ancestor in a dream.

He also mentioned that the teleportation gate could travel to an alternate world, where Torifu fabricated a vague detail.

He merely said that it could travel to a parallel world of the Shinobi world.

But Naori didn't focus on those details. She was currently overwhelmed by the sheer volume of absurd information that sounded like a child's make-believe.

Yet, her instincts told her that everything Torifu said was true.

"Torifu, is everything you said true? The Kumotsuru Clan's ancestor wasn't even from this world but a so-called Immortal from the Cultivation World?"

Torifu nodded. "I promise it's all true. And the ancestor isn't in the Cultivation World anymore; he seems to have ascended to an even higher world."

Naori couldn't immediately accept this. It conflicted with her existing worldview—was there a larger world beyond this one?

Naori couldn't even fully grasp the current state of this world, let alone other worlds.

"This… this is truly too outlandish. I need some time to digest this."

Naori lay back on the rocking chair, closing her eyes to rest, but her brain was operating at high speed, trying to find a reasonable explanation for everything.

But no matter how hard she tried, it was all futile.

"Is the world you mentioned real? That parallel world—is it really just like the Shinobi world?"

"It should be the same, right? After all, I've never been there."

Naori also nodded at this. "That's right. None of us have been there, so how can we know the situation on the other side?"

"So, you're planning to go?" Naori only then realized and questioned Torifu.

Torifu frankly admitted, "Exactly. I plan to go and see what the other Shinobi world is like, and I intend to take you with me."

Naori felt a little worried. Although it was supposedly a world identical to the Shinobi world, its reality was completely unknown.

If the two of them went and encountered danger, what would happen to Akihara?

Seeing Naori's worry, Torifu sighed. "Don't be afraid. I'm already Six Paths level."

This piece of news shocked Naori even more than the matter of the alternate world!

"Six Paths level! When did you—How did I not know!"

Torifu scratched his head. "Seven years ago, shortly after the war ended, I broke through. I didn't want to be too conspicuous, so I didn't tell anyone."

Naori tapped Torifu's head. "What would have happened if you told me? I'm your wife, and you keep even this kind of thing a secret from me!"

Seeing that Naori was about to get angry, Torifu immediately tried to console her. "It's just that there hasn't been a good opportunity to tell you."

Naori wasn't truly angry; she was just a little annoyed that Torifu had kept his promotion to the Six Paths level a secret from her for seven years.

"Forget it. I'm sure you have your reasons. I won't worry about it too much. You just focus on keeping me safe. Be a good bodyguard."

"OK."

Torifu hadn't expected Naori to accept it so quickly and agree to go with him to the original Naruto world.

While Naori didn't know the situation there, Torifu did.

Uchiha Naori at this point in time should have already been deceased for quite some time, perhaps having died in one of the wars.
