Chapter 295 - chapter 288devastating storm.

As Alia stood amidst the salty ocean breeze with a grieving heart, a tattered old envelope found its way into her hands. Upon opening it, the formidable and royal lineage of the Demidov and Petrov families was revealed. With trembling eyes, she began to read the names, uncovering the dark history of Viktor's life piece by piece:

The Demidov-Petrov Dynasty

Stepanovich Alexeyevich Petrov (Father): The head of the family and a former Russian military strategist. More than just a father, he is a terrifying figure known as an international espionage expert and a Russian Mafia Lord.

Anna Petrov (Mother): An aristocratic woman of Ukrainian diplomatic descent. The political history of the Cold War is etched into her lineage.

Nikolai Alexeyevich Petrov (Big Brother): The eldest son, whose roots reach deep into the heart of Russian political power.

Vicky Alexeyevich Petrov (Middle Brother): An emperor of the international arms trade and a ruthless Mafia boss. (Note: Though the name Dimitri is associated with him, he is primarily known as Vicky).

Viktor Alexeyevich Demidov Stepanovich (The Husband): Alia's husband. He is not only a Mafia Lord but also the CEO of the FSB and a Russian Police Officer—simultaneously a guardian of the law and a ruler of the darkness.

Katrina Smith Petrov (Big Sister): The eldest daughter. Though she appears to be an ordinary student, she is a master of disguise and a clever manipulator of people.

Anna Alexeyevich Petrov (Younger Sister): A member of the FSB. Her sharp intellect and enigmatic nature constantly attract mysterious individuals.

Sofia Loren Vicky (Alia's Sister & Vicky's Fiancée): Vicky's fiancée and Alia's middle sister; a high-born and influential personality.

Selena Hussain Olga (Nikolai's Fiancée): The woman engaged to Nikolai.

The Protagonist

Alia Isronova: Viktor's wife. She possesses mysterious links to the CIA and an unseen Russian power known as the "Russia God Mesher."

As Alia read through this list, her head spun. She realized she wasn't just the wife of a Mafia Lord she was an integral part of one of the world's most powerful and dangerous political and criminal dynasties. As Alia delved deeper into the Demidov-Petrov records, she discovered a chilling truth about Viktor and his younger sister, Anna Alexeyevich Petrov.

The Mirror Image: Viktor and Anna are nearly identical. Anna is essentially the female version of Viktor. They share the same piercing blue eyes, sharp features, and cold, regal aura.

The Deadly Duo: They are equally dangerous. While Viktor dominates the underworld as the FSB CEO and Mafia Lord, Anna operates from the shadows within the FSB, using her sharp intellect to manipulate events.

The Shared Identity: Due to their striking resemblance, they often swap roles or act on behalf of one another, making them an unpredictable and lethal team.

Alia realized that even if Viktor is gone, this "Female Viktor" might be an even greater threat. Anna's blue eyes hold a level of cunning that could lead Alia into an even darker trap. In the complex Demidov-Petrov dynamics, Viktor occasionally calls his sister Anna "Big Sister." Despite his own power as an FSB CEO and Mafia Lord, he respects Anna's superior intellect and cunning. Since she is his "female version" and often pulls the strings of their secret operations from the shadows, this title is a sign of deep respect and a hidden hierarchy within the family. Alia finds this chilling, as it proves that Anna's influence over Viktor and the entire empire is much deeper than it appears.Three days had passed, and in her deep grief, Alia's hair had grown excessively long, flowing down to the floor. She sat alone, accompanied only by her white Russian Persian cat and Viktor's formidable black tiger. While she was reading a book, the tiger suddenly began acting strangely hissing and pawing at the door instead of its usual roar. Sensing something was wrong, Alia panicked and called for the maid. The maid rushed in and whispered in terror, "Ma'am, the tiger only acts like this when it senses its master! It smells Viktor's presence." Alia dropped her book, her heart racing was Viktor back, or was it the "female version," Anna, who shared his scent and presence?Alia stood frozen for a moment after hearing Maria's words. Her heart skipped a beat. Viktor's presence? But Viktor was gone forever. Could it be that his soul was wandering through this mansion?

The tiger was still restless, staring at the door and hissing. Alia could no longer remain still. She threw her book onto the bed and walked slowly toward the tiger. This fearsome beast, which everyone else dreaded, became as calm as a house cat in front of Alia. She leaned down and picked up the massive, furry black tiger. The tiger was heavy, but today, Alia seemed possessed by an almost supernatural strength. She clutched the tiger to her chest and started walking around the room, her excessively long hair sweeping against the floor.

Alia began to mutter under her breath:

"Be calm, darling. No one is here. It's just your imagination. Viktor is no more."

Just then, a loud noise erupted from the corner of the room. Viktor's pet owl, inside its cage, suddenly began to thrash about. It flapped its wings, somehow forced the cage door open, and started flying through the darkness. The owl circled over Alia's head, let out sharp cries, and the wind from its wings sent her long hair into a wild disarray.

Witnessing the owl's frantic state, the maid, Maria, screamed in terror. She collapsed onto the floor, covering her face with her hands, and shrieked:

"Ma'am! Oh, Ma'am! The tiger and the owl they've both gone mad! The Master's restless spirit has entered this room! They are calling for their owner. Ma'am, we must flee right now!"

Alia held the tiger even tighter. Her eyes were now as steady and piercing as the owl's. She looked at Maria and spoke in an incredibly stern, calm voice:

"Be quiet, Maria! Don't move a single step! Do exactly as I say. Open the door. I want to see if my Viktor has truly returned."

Maria was turned to stone by Alia's transformation. Trembling, she stood up and moved toward the door. Inside the room, a haunting dance unfolded the owl's flight, the tiger's hissing, and the swaying of Alia's mystical, long hair. As Maria opened the door, a cold draft swept into the room. Standing in the dark corridor was a figure that froze Maria in her tracks. Alia looked up, still clutching the tiger, and for a split second, her heart stopped. It was the same tall silhouette, the same black coat, and those unmistakable piercing blue eyes. But as the light hit her face, Alia realized—it wasn't Viktor.

It was Anna Alexeyevich Petrov, Viktor's sister and his near-identical female counterpart. Anna stepped into the room with a chillingly calm smile and said, "Bhabi... did you really think my brother would leave you so easily? Viktor may be gone, but his blood and his shadow still haunt this house." Instantly, the owl landed on Anna's shoulder and the tiger purred at her feet. Anna looked at Alia's floor-length hair and added, "Your grief is beautiful, Bhabi, but there is no room for sorrow in the Petrov family. I am here to lead you to the truth." Alia was stunned, unable to say a word. The resemblance was so uncanny it felt as if Viktor himself had returned in a female form. All her pent-up grief and terror finally broke free. She let go of the tiger and stumbled toward Anna, throwing her arms around her in a desperate embrace.

Her floor-length hair draped over Anna's black coat as she sobbed uncontrollably against her chest. "You're here... why were you so late?" Alia whispered through her tears. "They say Viktor is gone, but I know you are the same blood! Save me, Anna... take me to my children!"

Anna remained stiff at first, her icy resolve momentarily challenged by Alia's raw vulnerability. Slowly, she placed a gloved hand on Alia's head. "Calm yourself, Bhabi," Anna whispered coldly yet firmly. "A Petrov woman does not break like this. Did you really think Viktor would leave his empire and his wife to fate? Dry your eyes... we have a long journey ahead."Maria stood by the door, watching in stunned silence two women, both hauntingly beautiful yet shrouded in mystery. One was consumed by grief, while the other remained as cold as a shadow. As they held each other, it felt as though they were bracing themselves for the arrival of a new, even more devastating storm. 2 am one day Setting: A vast, dimly lit drawing room inside a royal-style mansion. Outside, a heavy blizzard masks the city. In the center of the room, a fireplace crackles, but its amber glow struggles to pierce the oppressive darkness of the hall.

(The scene begins)

Anna: (Staring into the dancing flames, a wine glass held delicately in her hand. She wears a floor-length black silk gown, her stark white hair cascading over her shoulders. Her expression is an exact mirror of her brother's—cold, sharp, and regal.)

Anna: "I knew you'd return. Death isn't nearly patient enough to claim someone like you."

Viktor: (Emerging from the shadows to stand beside his sister. Flakes of melting snow still cling to his dark coat, glistening like diamonds in the firelight.)

Viktor: "You were always right, Sestrenka (Sister). But this return... it feels different."

Anna: "Different?" (She turns to face him, her eyes glowing with the same piercing blue hue as his.) "Are you referring to that girl? The one who begged you to 'save yourself'?"

Viktor: "Yes. She believes I've already given them everything."

Anna: (A faint, chilling smile touches her lips—the kind that inspires fear rather than comfort.) "She is naive. She doesn't understand that our family doesn't 'give.' We only 'take.' And you..." (She places a firm, cold hand on his shoulder) "...you haven't taken everything yet."

Viktor: "No. Not yet." (His voice drops to a dangerously low vibration.) "I'm going to strip them of every last thing they own."

Anna: (Taking a slow, deliberate sip of her wine.) "Good. Remember, we aren't just siblings; we are two sides of the same coin. I dwell in the darkness, and you inhabit the shadows. Together, we will make this city tremble."
