Early the next morning, Xiaonuan received a call from Liang Shaochen.
I've got the stuff.
Coffee shop.
On the high wooden chairs at the front, a young curly-haired mixed-race boy was intently playing the violin, with the melodious strains flowing from the strings, filling the entire café.
Xiaonuan stood at the door, backlit, glancing inside, and saw Liang Shaochen in a white shirt waving at her from a window seat.
Xiaonuan hurried forward.
"You came quickly."
Liang Shaochen said with a smile.
At this moment, a waiter came over and asked them what they would like to drink.
"Where's the stuff?" Xiaonuan asked anxiously.
"A cappuccino for her, and I'll have an Americano, thank you." Liang Shaochen politely said.
The waiter nodded and left.
Liang Shaochen looked at the anxious Xiaonuan, leisurely placing his elbows on the table. His gaze was clear yet seemed to hide some complexity.
