The man's handsome and pale face seemed somewhat out of place under the flickering lights in this decadent space tangled with desire.

"Sir, are you here alone? Did something unhappy happen to you?" the girl asked with a smile.
Shaochen was gulping down a glass of clear liquor. Hearing the voice, he merely glanced at the girl out of the corner of his eye, not even looking directly at her, and then continued to pour himself another drink.
The girl showed a disappointed look on her face, but she was not discouraged; boldly, she reached out and snatched the man's wine glass.
"Handsome, treating a pretty lady like this, isn't it a bit impolite?"
