Chapter 10 - chapter 10 : awakening the soul spirit

Aaron sat on his bed, thinking in previous life , he was born into a clan.

The Ahi Bhundya Clan. Serpent lineage. Ancient blood. Soul spirits ruled everything. No spirit meant no future. Weak spirit meant death.

At thirteen years old, every child underwent awakening.

Now he was fifteen, he can Awaken the soul spirit.

He opened his eyes.

---

The living room was quiet. Aryan sat with a book. Ashley read reports on her tablet.

Aaron walked in.

"Dad, mom! I need to tell you something."

His parents looked up.

"In the vampire memories I absorbed, there is a ritual."

The lie was smooth. He would never tell the truth. Not about the other world. Not about his past life. Never.

"What kind of ritual?" Aryan asked.

"Soul spirit awakening. It bonds an ancestral imprint to your soul. Gives power."

Aryan put down his book.

Ashley's face tightened. "You mean... like my wizard abilities?"

"Similar. But different."

Aryan stood up. Walked to the window. Turned around.

"Let me understand this. My wife can do real magic , My son is a vampire and Now my son tells me there is a way to obtain more supernatural power."

"Yes. Dad ,you can also turn into supernateral person"

Aryan stared at him. Then he laughed. Short and tired.

"My family was normal two months ago."

"Dad."

"I'm fine. Tell me the ritual."

---

Aaron in his thought, he remeber the memories, where his uncle was telling him about soul,

The soul was the true self. Permanent. Immortal in essence.

The soul spirit was an ancestral imprint bonded to the soul.

Centuries ago, the clan manifested true primordial serpent souls. Massive astral forms that could swallow a person's soul and absorb their essence.

But the bloodline thinned. The spirits weakened. By Aaron's time, the clan was collapsing.

---

Materials were gathered.

Aaron gave the list. Ashley made calls to her father and then various men in black came and brought the various blood.

One item mattered most.

Snake blood. But not any snake.

"Must be over one hundred years old," Aaron said.

If this world had no ancient snakes, the ritual might fail. But he had to try.

---

Night came.

The backyard was cleared. Trees blocked the neighbors. The moon was bright. Full. Perfect.

Aaron drew the diagram on the ground with mixture of various materials like salt, Balck peper, cinnabar, and diamond, and his blood mixture.

White chalk on stone. A circle. Inside the circle, a triangle. Inside the triangle, symbols. Old symbols.

Ashley held the jar of snake blood. Dark liquid. Thick.

Aryan stood at the edge. Watching. Worrying.

"Are you sure about this?" he asked.

"No," Aaron said. " Dad, at least we have to try"

He stepped into the circle.

---

The chant began.

Ahi Budhnya, Shesha, Ananta, Nāgādhipa,

hear the descendants of the bloodline.

Awaken my bloodline soul.

Awaken my potential.

Awaken my power.

Awaken my destiny.

Hear me, ancestors.

Give your descendants power and awaken them.

Aaron's voice was low. Rhythmic. Words in a language that did not exist on this Earth. His mother flinched when she heard it. The sound vibrated in her wizard blood.

Ten repetitions. Twenty. Fifty.

Aaron poured the snake blood over his own head. Cold liquid ran down his face. His shoulders. His chest.

Eighty repetitions. One hundred.

The symbols began to glow.

"Ashley," Aryan whispered. "The ground is glowing."

"I see it."

One hundred and eight.

The chant stopped.

Aaron's body shone. White light burst from his skin. His eyes blazed gold. The diagram burned bright on the ground.

The snake shadow appeared behind Aaron body.

Aryan grabbed Ashley's hand. Their faces were lit with excitement.

"It worked," Ashley breathed. "It actually worked."

Then Aaron screamed.

---

Not pain. Something else.

His back arched. His mouth opened. Light poured out of his eyes and throat. The ground shook. The diagram symbols rose off the stone, floating, spinning.

From Aaron's chest, something emerged.

Not physical. Not fully.

It was invisible but present. A presence. A shape. Long. Coiled. Vast.

A serpent. A naga form. Translucent scales shimmered in moonlight. Its body rose from Aaron like smoke from fire. Its head turned. Its eyes were stars.

Then it retreated. Sank back into his body. Vanished.

Aaron collapsed to his knees.

His vision changed. The world looked sharper. Colors deeper. He could see heat. He could taste fear in the air.

The System panel vibrated in his mind.

---

Soul Spirit Awakened: Ah Bhundya Serpent (Nascent Form)

Status: Incomplete β€” More soul energy required for full awakening.

New Ability Detected:

Β· Soul Pressure (Passive) β€” Releases ancestral serpent aura. Weak minds will feel fear, paralysis, or submission.

Warning: Soul spirit requires soul energy to grow. Current growth: 2%.

---

Aaron stood up. His body was shaking. His breath was heavy.

Aryan ran to him. "Aaron! Are you hurt?"

"No. It worked. Partially."

"Partially?"

"The spirit awakened. But it is not complete. It needs more soul energy to grow."

"Soul energy?" Ashley asked. Her voice was tight. "What does that mean?"

Aaron looked at her. His eyes still glowed faintly.

"It means I need to feed it."
