The dome shimmered faintly, its surface layered with countless inscriptions, each one glowing with a different hue, each one representing a fragment of the borrowed authority the elders now wielded.
Damon's face changed. He could feel it instantly. He needed to somehow get out of here immediately. Otherwise, things would get out of his control fast. He had a feeling that this confinement was merely the first step.
He directly unleashed a blood spear on the dome but the barrier did not even budge.
Outside, the elders revealed satisfied expressions. The two dead ones also resurrected and came back to watch the show. Every single one of them looked relieved.
"Good," Old Cao said calmly, watching Damon from outside the dome. "Let him struggle."
"He won't break it," another added. "That dome isn't something a B-rank can shatter. Not even close."
