Chapter 212 - The Descent of Nibiru

The scene shifts to white's distant hometown, Earth. Because the space-time fields differ between universes, just as white was breaking through his cultivation boundaries, distant Earth finally faced its celestial destruction.

On August 7, 2028, a scorching sun parched the land, and the South Pole shifted toward Australia. On that day, an incredible "Great Cleansing" occurred. Global tsunamis and earthquakes followed in rapid succession. Seawater surged into every low-lying area across the globe. People fled in panic; the true apocalypse recorded by the Mayans began at this moment. The world fell into a state of anarchy as militaries became useless. Massive populations evaporated instantly. Under the powerful gravitational pull of Nibiru, gargantuan tidal waves reached deep into the hinterlands. Coupled with the double assault of solar particles, numerous volcanoes erupted simultaneously, turning movie plots into reality.

The tsunami submerged white's hometown, ruthlessly sweeping everything away. Mortals with heavy collective karma finally reached the end of their accumulated sins. On the distant islands of New Zealand, members of the DS hid, thinking their terrain would save them. They did not know that long-dormant volcanic craters were erupting at the same time. In an instant, boiling magma covered their man-made bunkers. Members scattered in flight, but the airports were already buried in lava; planes could not take off. Those trapped on the island awaited the judgment of fate.

After three days and nights of tsunamis, Earth had wiped out the majority of the "human bacteria." As the dark clouds dispersed, the azure sky rose once again. Coastal cities of all nations had vanished. The remaining inland cities housed the few surviving humans, though plague and famine continued to torment them. At this point, war was forced to end. The world was left with a population of 2 billion. With people harming one another, killing to create karma, and endless lust, the debt of karma had to be repaid in blood; the heavens' rewards and punishments were precise to the last detail.

Over a month later, Nibiru gradually moved away from Earth, returning to the outer reaches of the solar system. The Moon also drifted over 30,000 kilometers further from Earth due to Nibiru's gravity; from now on, the moon seen from Earth might appear a bit smaller. The Anunnaki completed their mission, steering the planet Nibiru out of the solar system to return to their new home in Orion.

Years later, nations rebuilt their cities. The capital of white's country moved to Chang'an. Coastal cities were reconstructed and repopulated. It was hoped that the surviving humans would discard their utilitarian, selfish, and murderous hearts to return to spiritual cultivation and create a better future.

Returning to Lian Kong's memories, the fourth day passed, and Lian Kong still had not appeared. Because of this, Xinya felt gloomy for a long time, a trace of worry surfacing in her heart. Even while busy, she constantly thought of him. (Perhaps I'll never see him again...) A complex emotion spread through the young girl's heart—the flavor of love.

At night, after completing her patrol rotation, Xinya walked home. "It seems it is already night here," a familiar voice suddenly spoke from behind her. Xinya shuddered and spun around quickly. Sure enough, she saw the man she had been thinking of day and night. "Where did you go?! You really made me wait!" Ignoring all etiquette, Xinya threw herself at him, which took Lian Kong by surprise.

"I have made you wait. The time field of the Divine Realm is different from this planet, which caused a time lag. I offer my apologies," Lian Kong said with a smile, stroking her head.

"I see... I misunderstood you," Xinya replied, hurriedly pulling away in embarrassment.

"By the way, this is a return gift I made with my own hands after deciding on it. Though the craftsmanship is crude, it is made from a hundred-million-year-old tree trunk. I hope you like it." Lian Kong conjured a picture frame made of pure wood. Although it looked simple, it bore clear traces of manual carving. "Is this... thank you! How did you know the photo frame in my house was broken?" Xinya held the handmade frame excitedly, as if it were a priceless treasure.

"Hehe, a God Master is all-knowing," Lian Kong replied with a laugh.

"It seems that phrase is your catchphrase!" Xinya giggled, covering her mouth.
