Chapter 551: Silver Dragon King, Part 1
As time passed, the once arrogant Black Dragon King Di Tian had now returned in frustration, unable to subdue two mere quasi gods.
"Hmm?" Di Tian frowned as he returned to where he last sensed Ye Wen.
In Di Tian's mind, Ye Wen was likely only an Ultimate Douluo, and by now, the other powerful soul beasts would have arrived on the scene. Even if Ye Wen possessed unique skills, he couldn't possibly have escaped the combined efforts of five mighty soul beasts.
"Where did everyone go? I can still sense their presence here so why can't I see anyone?" Di Tian murmured.
Just then, a ripple of soul power emerged, and Di Tian saw a white sphere manifest before him.
Staring at it, Di Tian's expression grew serious. Although his power wasn't what it once was, his knowledge remained intact.
"A domain? But… something's off. This dense spatial distortion… it's almost god level. Not even the God of Space wielded such perfection," he noted, studying it closely.
Before he could examine it further, the white sphere faded away, revealing Ye Wen and the other figures it had contained.
"They're back?" Bi Ji let out a sigh of relief and quickly flew over to Di Tian.
"Be cautious, Di Tian. That human's domain reached the level of the gods," she warned him.
Di Tian gave a slight nod, though he remained calm. Despite losing his godly powers, he retained his mastery of the laws. If he had to fight, his ultimate darkness wouldn't be afraid of Ye Wen. Yet there was more at stake here than just a fight.
"Human," Di Tian said darkly, "release the young one now. Whatever your intentions, know that we soul beasts will not let this slide."
He emanated a pulse of killing intent, attempting to intimidate Ye Wen, whose true power remained a mystery.
Ye Wen, however, simply waved him off, unconcerned. "All right, little one, you can go back now. But don't be so reckless again; not everyone you meet will be as nice as me."
As the Three Eyed Golden Lion was released, it didn't immediately run back to Di Tian and the others. Instead, it bowed respectfully toward Ye Wen and spoke.
"Please forgive my Uncle Di Tian's offense, honored god. They did not realize your true identity."
Ye Wen blinked, realizing he had overlooked something. During the attribute connection, memories had been exchanged, and since Huo Yu'er knew his identity, it made sense that the Three Eyed Golden Lion would too.
Of course, this was his own fault. He had come here to form an alliance with the leaders of the soul beasts, but had been a bit careless.
Di Tian and the others, however, were stunned.
"God?" Di Tian echoed, a hint of shock in his voice. Was it the kind of god they were thinking of?
Once this realization sank in, the assembled soul beasts' expressions changed drastically, their auras flaring as they glared at Ye Wen with renewed intensity. Di Tian seized the Three Eyed Golden Lion, tossing it safely behind him as he unleashed his Dragon God Claw in a bid to strike Ye Wen down.
To Di Tian, any god in this age would be an agent of the Divine Realm after all, their own great Soul Beast King had become one of its pawns.
The Three Eyed Golden Lion stumbled backward, momentarily dazed from the rough landing but otherwise unharmed thanks to its tough hide. Watching in disbelief as its beloved Uncle Di Tian attacked the god before it, the young beast cried out in alarm.
"Stop, Uncle Di Tian! This honored god means us no harm!"
But it was already too late. Following Di Tian's lead, the other soul beasts launched their attacks, each one powerful enough to raze a fortress.
Huo Yu'er, who had recently advanced to the Soul Sage level thanks to the attribute connection, couldn't help but tremble in fear. Yet seeing Ye Wen's calm figure standing ahead of her gave her courage, and she relaxed.
Once again, the terrifying attacks stalled mere meters away from Ye Wen, seemingly suspended in midair before being absorbed and dissipating into nothingness.
"Calm down, everyone," Ye Wen said softly. "If I meant you harm, I could have killed you all already."
The area fell into a heavy silence. Di Tian, his face twisted with frustration, maintained his Dragon God Claw, still striving to crush Ye Wen.
But
"A god…" Di Tian growled through gritted teeth.
Though he could no longer gauge Ye Wen's full power, it was clearly god level. If it hadn't been, Ye Wen wouldn't have been able to withstand his Dragon God Claw so effortlessly.
Ye Wen saw Di Tian's bitter resentment. As a former god king, Di Tian's pride had been deeply wounded by his inability to overpower even a seemingly lesser god.
In his own original world, Ye Wen knew, Di Tian had struggled with the same anger. It had taken Ye Wen marrying the Silver Dragon King for Di Tian to finally set aside his grievances and ally himself with the new Douluo Star.
With his lips barely moving, Ye Wen said something almost inaudible, his words reaching only Di Tian, whose expression immediately shifted in shock.
Di Tian's powerful claw clenched and unclenched, his reluctance clear as he finally retracted it, glaring at Ye Wen.
"See that you keep your word, human," Di Tian spat, "or I'll drag you to the depths of hell with me, even if it costs my life."
The Three Eyed Golden Lion, now safe, sighed in relief. Even though it boasted the strength of a rank 95 Hyper Douluo, it had been little more than a bystander in this confrontation.
But what happened next left the Three Eyed Golden Lion even more perplexed. Di Tian led Ye Wen an actual human toward Lake of Life, the one area strictly forbidden to humans.
Oh, right. He's a god, thought the lion, feeling reassured.
As they walked, the Three Eyed Golden Lion couldn't help but observe Ye Wen more closely. Though a god, he appeared to be just like any other human. And yet, the emotions stirred by Huo Yu'er's memories left the lion feeling a little envious.
"Oh, how wonderful…" the lion sighed wistfully.
After only a few minutes, they reached the core of Star Dou Forest, standing by the Lake of Life.
For the Three Eyed Golden Lion, this was the first time it had ever set foot here. The life energy around the lake was almost tangible, each breath leaving the lion refreshed and invigorated.
It couldn't help but wonder why it had never been allowed to come here before. Di Tian had always said that only the strongest of soul beasts could enter, and that if the young lion wanted to see it, it needed to grow stronger.
As they ventured deeper, the lion felt a strange pull, a mysterious attraction that stirred its blood.
"What… could that be?"

Chapter 552: Silver Dragon King, Part 2
As the Three Eyed Golden Lion took in the scene, its vision was filled with silver. Before it was a western dragon similar in type to Di Tian, but unlike the terrifying Black Dragon King, this dragon radiated a gentler, almost serene beauty.
The Three Eyed Golden Lion, who possessed traces of Golden Dragon King blood, could not help but admire her appearance. Like a giant lion, it also bore scales in places, so it understood the allure of their sheen and felt briefly entranced.
Only when Di Tian began to awaken the Silver Dragon King did the Three Eyed Golden Lion snap out of its daze, realizing that apart from itself and its uncle Di Tian, only these two humans were present.
No matter how pure hearted it was, the Three Eyed Golden Lion couldn't ignore the strangeness of the situation.
Who am I? Where am I? What am I even doing here?
But before it could untangle these thoughts, the Silver Dragon King opened her eyes. They were gem like, a shade of violet so breathtaking it left one's heart racing.
"Di Tian, why have you awakened me?" she asked. Her voice, slow from a long slumber, quickly shifted to alert as she sensed the foreign presence of a human.
"Who dares intrude?" she demanded, leaping to her feet. Her gleaming silver wings unfurled, revealing a vicious scar on her abdomen that had resisted healing for millennia the mark left by the former Shura God King.
While Di Tian's shattered godhood left him weakened, the Silver Dragon King had preserved her godly essence; she was, in truth, a god king.
Protected by the Lake of Life, Ye Wen felt free to release his divine aura, surrounding his student in protective energy.
"Calm down, Silver Dragon King. I mean you no harm and am not aligned with the Divine Realm that injured you. But if you continue to act rashly, I will have to use force," he warned.
Sensing the aura of a supreme god king emanating from him, the Silver Dragon King's eyes narrowed.
"This power… You are one of the highest god kings?" she asked.
Ye Wen gave a slight nod. "You, as half of the Dragon God, didn't inherit the full god king power, did you? Or perhaps you possess only a fraction of it, the strength of a high level or mid level god king. So please exercise restraint, or I will be forced to resolve this through violence."
The Silver Dragon King held his gaze for a moment before bowing her proud head and folding her wings. Though she lowered herself, she maintained her poise as the soul beast sovereign, lifting her slender neck to face him directly.
"Explain your purpose here, human."
Ye Wen's brows furrowed slightly. Though this version of the Silver Dragon King was from a different dimension, she resembled his wife from his own world, a memory he preferred not to dwell on. Her haughty attitude only annoyed him further.
With a snap of his fingers, a high backed throne appeared behind him, as well as an identical chair across from him.
"Your current form is unsuitable for discussion. Take human form and then let's talk," Ye Wen ordered.
The Silver Dragon King remained silent. As the wise half of the Dragon God, she was no fool; confronting a stronger opponent without absolute strength was akin to courting death. The Golden Dragon King's reckless approach had only ended with his life in the Divine Realm, his fate unknown.
In a flash of white light, the Silver Dragon King shifted into her human form. This did not surprise Ye Wen, though Huo Yu'er was momentarily stunned by her beauty. The Silver Dragon King looked just like the one he knew, with flowing silver hair cascading down to her waist and violet eyes as alluring as ever. She wore an extravagant gown inlaid with countless gemstones, radiating an air of elegance and royalty.
Though Ye Wen had forced her into this form, her innate pride remained intact. Moving with deliberate grace, she walked toward the throne, each step reinforcing her identity as the rightful sovereign of the soul beasts.
Seated on the throne, she repeated, "State your purpose, human."
Ye Wen understood her hostility toward humans. After all, her former self, the Dragon God, had been cut down by a human Shura God King, creating the two beings she and the Golden Dragon King now were.
Still, Ye Wen found it strange; despite his extensive review of history, he couldn't confirm whether the Shura God King was truly human. When Tang San had inherited the Shura God's position, he had gained a Shura lineage, yet no trace of that bloodline had been found on Douluo Star, even after so much time.
It was all so puzzling.
Propping his head up with his right hand, Ye Wen adopted a detached, almost disdainful expression. His years of living among dragons had taught him how to handle their kind.
Dragons, with their inherent might and arrogance, required a display of even greater strength and pride to earn their respect a truly savage race in that regard.
As expected, the Silver Dragon King, upon witnessing his calm and unimpressed demeanor, momentarily faltered in her confidence.
The slight waver in her aura did not go unnoticed by Di Tian, who immediately stepped forward to defend her honor. However, a single cold glance from Ye Wen caused Di Tian to break out in a cold sweat, his body locking in place.
Though Di Tian had once been a god king, he was merely a guard for the Dragon God a being of such supremacy that he rarely needed protection. Consequently, Di Tian had little experience in handling high stakes battles.
But Ye Wen, a god who had emerged from countless life or death struggles, had a killing intent so overwhelming that Di Tian found himself unable to move.
The Silver Dragon King frowned at this but did not intervene; among soul beasts, survival of the fittest was the rule.
Seeing her loyal guard so powerless stirred a flicker of sympathy within the Silver Dragon King.
"That's enough, human!" she snapped. "If you keep this up, it'll be a declaration of war against our entire soul beast race. I don't care if you're a supreme god king; I won't hesitate to die taking you down with me!"
Her tone was unwavering, her gaze steely. Ye Wen couldn't help but admire this resilience; it was precisely this unyielding strength and pride that defined the Silver Dragon King he knew.
Allowing his killing intent to fade, Ye Wen finally addressed the matter at hand.
"I came here seeking an alliance with you, Silver Dragon King."
"Speak," she replied curtly. Her irritation was plain she had been forcefully awakened despite her need to recover from her injuries, and on top of that, she'd just endured Ye Wen's intimidation.
Ye Wen, knowing her nature, didn't dwell on her tone but instead turned his gaze to Di Tian.

Chapter 553: Silver Dragon King, Part 3
Ye Wen disliked being on the defensive, so he decided to take control through Di Tian first.
"Di Tian, with all the faith energy you've accumulated, you should have enough to condense a divine core and regain your godly status, correct?"
Knowing his place, Di Tian simply nodded coolly, recognizing that it was not his place to speak. Meanwhile, the Silver Dragon King felt a growing impatience. Ever since she had descended to this lower realm, she had sensed a change in the world's fundamental rules a restriction had been placed on soul beasts, preventing them from becoming gods.
If she had been a supreme god king, she might have been able to alter this restriction, but even as half of the original Dragon God, she lacked the necessary power to break the rule. Di Tian knew of this restriction as well, but he couldn't accept it.
After all, Douluo Star and the expansive Divine Realm beyond were supposed to belong to the Dragon Clan, now occupied by these foreign gods who imposed the rule barring soul beasts from ascending. How could he accept such a reality?
So for thousands of years, Di Tian had been gathering faith energy, hoping to reclaim his godhood. By the events of Douluo Dalu IV, it had been confirmed that he had accumulated enough faith energy to ascend to divinity multiple times over, showing just how devoted he was to his cause.
Ye Wen, however, saw this approach as overly simplistic. Though Di Tian had once been a god king, he seemed not to fully understand the gravity of the restriction itself.
With a confident smile, Ye Wen proposed, "How about this for our alliance? As one of the terms, I can restore your godhood."
Di Tian's gaze flickered with interest, but he didn't answer immediately; instead, he looked to the Silver Dragon King. She, on the other hand, asked coolly, "And what exactly is this alliance supposed to accomplish?"
While she was not versed in human politics, she knew enough to recognize an offer that came too easily.
Ye Wen pointed toward the sky. "To resist the current Divine Realm and free Douluo Star from their rule, establishing a new pantheon instead."
For the first time, the Silver Dragon King's eyes showed a trace of surprise, and she looked at Ye Wen with a hint of sarcasm.
"What bold ambition, human. Do you really think godhood is the ultimate achievement in cultivation? Do you "
Before she could finish, Ye Wen raised his hand, cutting her off.
"I know more than you think. The current Divine Realm has five god kings, but aside from the god kings of Destruction and Life, the other three are merely replacements, lacking the power of true peak god kings."
"How do you know that?" she asked, surprised.
To her knowledge, the remaining god kings Good and Evil were once equals of the Dragon God, with Destruction, Life, and Shura following as high level god kings. It seemed unlikely that the situation could have changed so drastically, especially with someone from the lower realms knowing of it.
Seeing her reaction, Ye Wen only shrugged, knowing she was aware of his own status as a supreme god king. However, she doubted whether two god kings alone she being a weakened one at that could truly oppose the Divine Realm's forces.
"Even if your claims are true," she said with a note of resignation, "there's no reason to believe we could fight against the Divine Realm. This alliance would be nothing more than suicide."
Ye Wen, however, remained calm, raising his left hand. Power radiated from it, infused with a familiar energy that left both the Silver Dragon King and Di Tian stunned. She leaped to her feet, eyes wide with shock.
"That's… the aura of the Dragon God! Where did you acquire it?"
Ye Wen didn't elaborate. "This is my trump card," he said simply. "And as you know, not all god kings are equal. I have reached the level of the invincible god king. I'm here to form this alliance not out of need, but to establish a Divine Realm free of racial prejudice. We are all creatures born from Douluo Star; we should unite and wage war across the heavens, as the Dragon God once did."
Di Tian's expression grew conflicted. This declaration was overwhelming, and for a moment, he looked helplessly toward the Silver Dragon King, who remained silent, frowning deeply as she pondered Ye Wen's words.
Memories surfaced, bringing back images of the Shura God, his aura of slaughter surrounding him like a storm. Her hatred was instinctive.
After a long pause, the Silver Dragon King finally spoke.
"Human beings are the most creative species in the universe," she said softly, "and also the most self centered. They are greedy, selfish, arrogant, and reject any lifeform different from themselves."
She hesitated, her eyes reflecting a complex mix of emotions. "Even if I were to agree, what assurance do I have that our two races could ever coexist peacefully? After all, it was you humans who took our Divine Realm from us."
Ye Wen blinked, recalling the unfortunate mess left behind by the Dragon God.
"Well… Silver Dragon King," he began. "Don't tell me you actually think it was the human gods who altered Douluo Star's rules."
The Silver Dragon King nodded, her knowledge mostly coming from the memories implanted by the Dragon God.
"Is there a problem with that assumption?"
Thinking of the reckless and impulsive Dragon God, Ye Wen rubbed his forehead and began explaining.
"First of all, you've misunderstood something: the rule preventing soul beasts from becoming gods wasn't set by the human gods."
This revelation made Di Tian's fury flare up. He had despised the human gods ever since he began hiding in Douluo Star, and hearing Ye Wen's words felt like a betrayal of his long held beliefs.
"That's impossible!" Di Tian shouted, his anger uncontainable. "Who else would impose such a disgusting rule if not those human gods who've been targeting us soul beasts all along?"
As Ye Wen and the Silver Dragon King fixed him with a look, Di Tian realized his outburst but refused to back down, staring defiantly back at them.
While she appreciated Di Tian's loyalty, the Silver Dragon King was not pleased with his insubordination and frowned.
Ye Wen was unbothered, well aware of Di Tian's stubborn streak, and continued in a relaxed tone.
"Although there are two human god kings now, originally, only the Shura God held that position. Do you really think that a god of such high status would feel the need to target soul beasts?"

Chapter 554: Silver Dragon King, Part 4
Ye Wen's statement struck Di Tian's sore spot directly. He'd never thought carefully about it why would the Divine Realm, filled with so many different types of god kings, target only the soul beast race? Many of those gods had shown no hostility toward the Dragon Clan either. Di Tian found himself sinking into doubt, his gaze turning uncertain and distant.
As the rational half of the Dragon God, the Silver Dragon King quickly grasped the implications of Ye Wen's words. However, she didn't know the full extent of the Divine Realm's inner workings, so she instinctively asked, "Then can you tell me who changed this planet's rules, preventing soul beasts from becoming gods?"
Seeing her perplexed look reminded Ye Wen of young Na'er, and he felt a pang of unease. He glanced away, then, under her curious gaze, he revealed something that would shatter her understanding.
"It was the Dragon God who set the rule preventing soul beasts from becoming gods. After nearly wiping out his own clan, he feared that, with the dragons' diminished numbers, they'd be vulnerable to other races in the Divine Realm. So, before he left, he altered the rules to protect you by barring any new soul beasts or dragons from ascending to godhood."
The Silver Dragon King stared at Ye Wen, stunned, her mouth slightly open. It took her a moment to find her voice. "T That's impossible. After being split in two by the Shura God, the Dragon God died. How could he have had the power to alter Douluo Star's rules?"
Yet Ye Wen's unwavering expression made her doubt her own understanding. The reality seemed too absurd to bear, and she felt faint.
Ye Wen decided to give her another shocking revelation, intending to make this naive dragon fully abandon her misguided beliefs.
"The Dragon God didn't actually die."
At this, both the Silver Dragon King and Di Tian locked their eyes on him.
"What? Impossible! If the Dragon God hadn't died, then how was I even created?"
"What? The Dragon God is still alive? Then where is he?" Di Tian asked urgently.
Ye Wen felt bombarded with questions but patiently responded to each one in turn.
Meeting the Silver Dragon King's gaze, Ye Wen said, "The Dragon God possessed a Creator's divine core. You've forgotten your own divine abilities, haven't you, Silver Dragon King? Do you think creating a new life would have been difficult for him?"
The Silver Dragon King's mind froze. If she wished, she could easily create new life forms with her divine power; it was no difficult feat for her. Knowing this fact, she felt an overwhelming sense of dread at the idea that she might be nothing more than a created being.
The self doubt shook her so strongly that she finally showed signs of genuine emotional turmoil, looking at Ye Wen with anger and frustration.
"Why should we believe what you say? Where's your proof?"
Finding tangible proof after so much time was challenging, even for gods. However, Ye Wen had come prepared.
This time, instead of channeling only the Dragon God's divine energy, Ye Wen called upon the consciousness of the world, condensing the abundant life force of the Lake of Life to create a divine core.
Creating a divine core required significant power, so Ye Wen only made a core of a third level god. Yet the power it emanated left the Silver Dragon King utterly stunned.
"A A Dragon God core?!"
Though the core's energy wasn't exceptionally powerful, it still exuded a distinct essence that the Silver Dragon King couldn't deny. She knew well that only a complete Dragon God could produce such a core.
A sense of desperation surged within her. For countless years, she had hoped to revive the soul beast race, and the only way she could think of to restore her power was to absorb the aura of the Golden Dragon King. She had been drawn to Tang Wulin's aura in the hopes that she might one day reabsorb the Golden Dragon King's bloodline, transforming into the complete, multicolored Dragon God.
Only the supreme might of an invincible god king could give her the confidence to challenge the Divine Realm.
Ye Wen, however, found this approach inefficient; he felt it would be better to establish a new Divine Realm from scratch, binding it to Douluo Star and creating a world in which soul beasts and humans could coexist and thrive.
After all, the deities of Douluo's Divine Realm weren't all antagonistic toward the soul beast race. In fact, many of the most hostile gods were native to Douluo Star alone.
The Dragon God had left a legacy of conflict.
Ye Wen had anticipated the Silver Dragon King's shock but hadn't expected her to rush forward, trying to seize the Dragon God's core in his hand.
If she had been in her dragon form, she might have posed some trouble for Ye Wen. But in her current, human form, she was no match for someone who had honed his battle instincts through countless wars. In a few swift moves, Ye Wen sent her flying back.
Though the impact hurt, her dragon hide was tough, and the pain didn't bother her. She knew she couldn't take Ye Wen down and could only plead seriously, "Give me that core, and I'll agree to your alliance."
Ye Wen rolled his eyes and stored the core away.
Did she really think it would be that easy? He wanted to form an alliance that would truly bind humans and soul beasts together, not one based solely on mutual interest, which would only crumble in the future.
Seeing the core vanish into Ye Wen's hands, the Silver Dragon King grew frantic.
"What do you want, then? I'll agree to anything if you just hand over the core!"
Ye Wen had his answer: the Silver Dragon King was far too naive, her intentions too easily exposed.
"Be patient. You'll get the core, but not yet," he said casually.
Overpowered and tempted by the allure of the Dragon God's power, the Silver Dragon King, despite her reluctance, gritted her teeth and resumed her seat, ready to discuss terms.
As a show of goodwill, Ye Wen created a third level dark divine core for Di Tian, though it lacked the ability to transfer his power to others.
Di Tian was overjoyed to obtain the core, knowing that the Lake of Life would shield him from detection by the Divine Realm. This meant he could cultivate in secret, waiting for the right moment to rise up. With his previous experience as a god, Di Tian was confident that, within a hundred years, he could return to peak strength and possibly even reclaim his former power.
Though Ye Wen held the power of the Covenant of the Gods, he saw no need to draft a formal contract. Any agreement, from the moment it was written, carried the seeds of potential betrayal.
As Ye Wen saw it, true alliances weren't formed through binding rules but through shared purpose.
And with that, Ye Wen's youngest disciple, Ye Jin'er, was born!
Still, Ye Wen couldn't help but wonder why this little girl insisted on taking his surname.

Chapter 555: Silver Dragon King, Part 5
Ye Wen found himself deep in thought as he looked at the little girl with golden eyes and hair, who bore a striking resemblance to Huo Yu'er. She looked about 80% similar to her. It seemed that she wasn't named Wang Qiu'er because Wang Dong'er didn't exist in this timeline, and she looked like Huo Yu'er for the same reason.
"So why did you choose to take my surname?" Ye Wen asked, puzzled.
Unlike the original Peerless Tang Sect, this time, Ye Jin'er had fully transformed, rather than simply adopting a human form without entering a true childhood phase. Ye Wen chose this path because, under the current world rules, soul beasts could not ascend to godhood. Di Tian was able to become a god again only because he already possessed a god core, but to nurture other soul beasts into divine beings, they would have to confront the issue of cultivation breakthroughs. Ye Wen didn't have the time to wait for them to reach the absurdly high levels of 700,000 or 800,000 years.
The biggest challenge for a soul beast starting over in human form was how to integrate into human society. But with Ye Wen as their patron, these 100,000 year level soul beasts had the security they needed, which would help ease relations between humans and soul beasts. Once one ascends to godhood, physical form and species are no longer boundaries, and narrow notions of race can be discarded.
The Silver Dragon King and Di Tian harbored such deep seated grudges largely because they had witnessed the Shura God cutting down the Dragon God a prejudice formed in advance, fundamentally a case of misdirected anger.
Ye Wen himself had proposed taking Ye Jin'er as his disciple, believing that a gradual process would foster better understanding and communication between the two sides. Next, he intended to help other 100,000 year soul beasts and fierce beasts take human form, as Douluo Star was in dire need of god level powerhouses.
As for whether these soul beasts in human form could reach godhood, Ye Wen had no doubts. Every 100,000 year soul beast transformed into human form was a natural genius with innate full soul power. Reaching the Super Douluo realm involves an advanced understanding of one's martial soul, an area where these soul beasts already had an inherent advantage. With an experienced mentor like Ye Wen to guide them, their ascension to godhood was practically guaranteed.
Ye Jin'er was fascinated with her new body, though she stumbled a bit, unaccustomed to walking upright after moving on all fours for so long. However, as a favored child of heaven and earth, she quickly adjusted to her new form with ease.
When Ye Wen asked his question, Ye Jin'er tilted her head slightly, replying with innocence, "This name just popped into my mind, and it felt right. Can't I use it, Master Ye Wen?"
Faced with such an adorably innocent and sincere little girl, Ye Wen could only smile in surrender. He even entertained the thought of raising another daughter.
Holding Ye Jin'er on his lap, Ye Wen gently patted her head with a fatherly affection. "It's perfectly fine. Since you're my disciple, you're like family to me. Taking my surname is only natural."
Because of Huo Yu'er's memories, Ye Jin'er naturally felt an affinity for Ye Wen and enjoyed his gentle touch. This scene, however, stirred a bit of jealousy in Huo Yu'er, who had been quietly watching.
"Oh no, I should have taken Master's surname when I had the chance! Now I want to, but I can't bring myself to say it. Ugh, this is killing me!" Huo Yu'er fumed internally, feeling conflicted and frustrated.
The Silver Dragon King watched Ye Wen, her expression complicated. This harmonious interaction between a human and a soul beast was something she had never seen since her creation.
"With Jin'er successfully transformed, our alliance formally begins. I trust that you will not betray the faith our soul beast race has placed in you, Lord Ye Wen," the Silver Dragon King declared solemnly. Ye Wen replied seriously, though he silently noted that the Silver Dragon King's social skills could use some refinement. Voicing suspicions about an ally directly was not ideal.
With matters settled, the Silver Dragon King, her tensions finally relieved, reverted to her original form.
"My injuries are in your care, then," she said, closing her radiant eyes. Despite the short exchange, she was visibly drained.
Restored to god level strength, Di Tian watched Ye Wen intently. Although grateful for Ye Wen's assistance in restoring his god core, he remained vigilant regarding his master's well being. Ye Wen hadn't gone into full detail about the Dragon God's history, but he trusted that, sooner or later, the Silver Dragon King and Di Tian would piece together the harsh truth on their own. After all, Ye Wen wasn't so arrogant as to think they'd accept everything he said blindly.
Helping the Silver Dragon King heal was a crucial part of their alliance agreement. Though she possessed high god king power, she lacked the necessary faith energy to heal effectively.
Slowly, Ye Wen raised his right hand, letting a flood of divine energy pour into the Silver Dragon King.
While still deep in sleep, she instinctively felt the long lost warmth of divine energy flowing through her, letting out a soft murmur that, even in her dragon form, struck a chord in Ye Wen's heart.
"Oh, Yue'er, Na'er, I miss you both so much... I wish I could be back in my true form with you." As a high level clone of himself, this avatar of Ye Wen held all his memories, so he couldn't act impulsively without regard for his primary self. That sense of restraint was a bit frustrating.
With the creative powers of her divine core restored, the Silver Dragon King's injuries quickly healed. After all, the Shura God who inflicted the wound had only been a high level god king; if not for her lack of divine power, she would have recovered long ago.
Seeing his master recover, Di Tian let out a sigh of relief, his gratitude toward Ye Wen now evident. Since he had self exiled to Douluo Star, Di Tian hadn't felt so at ease in ages.
With the Silver Dragon King fully healed, though still a bit mentally exhausted, Ye Wen turned to Di Tian and advised, "The Silver Dragon King's injuries are no longer a concern. But in the days to come, we'll be up against a powerful Divine Realm. I hope you'll encourage your master to continue cultivating and aim to reach the level of a supreme god king. This will be vital not only for her but for both our races. I hope you'll treat it with the utmost seriousness."
Ye Wen's authoritative presence made Di Tian nod instinctively, though he quickly remembered he wasn't Ye Wen's subordinate and hesitated. Just as he was about to speak, Ye Wen seemed to think of something and pulled out a large stack of books, placing them on the ground as he addressed Di Tian once more.
"It's not my place to meddle in your master's affairs. However, the Silver Dragon King is still young and hasn't fully inherited the wisdom of the original Dragon God. She'll need these books to develop her understanding. These are rare volumes from my collection. Have her study them once she's awake. Frankly, she has a long way to go before she truly deserves the title of the soul beasts' leader."
