Chapter 494 - Chapter 616-620

Chapter 616: Ultimate Divine Battle, Part Five

The intense battle between Ye Wen and Tang Wulin's group reached its peak.

Despite his relative inexperience, Tang Wulin wielded the Sea God Trident with surprising effectiveness. The same artifact had once led Tang San to abandon even the most advanced techniques and martial arts of the Tang Sect, committing himself entirely to mastering this weapon.

For a newly crowned Sea God, the damage Tang Wulin inflicted on Ye Wen should have been manageable for Ye Wen to heal with a little divine power. But Tang San, cunning as ever, had left a trace of his own God King level power on the Sea God Trident, enhancing Tang Wulin's blows so that they left wounds that Ye Wen couldn't heal, golden divine blood flowing steadily from them.

Initially, Ye Wen's sustained divine power gave him the upper hand, allowing him to outlast the group's assaults. But the gradual loss of divine blood slowly drained his strength, bringing him closer to his limits. For Tang Wulin and the others, Ye Wen's growing exhaustion was a glimmer of hope.

Finally, under their relentless onslaught, Ye Wen's divine power could no longer sustain his invincible spatial defenses.

Hovering above, Tang Wulin prepared for the final blow. Radiating immense power, he raised the blazing Sea God Trident, ready to end the battle. Yet, in this decisive moment, he couldn't resist a self righteous speech, echoing his father's "sense of justice."

"Ye Wen, a criminal of the highest order, you've disrupted the natural flow of history, forcibly uniting the three empires of the Douluo Continent. Your actions have brought nothing but grief and sorrow to countless innocent lives. Today, I, Tang Wulin, stand as the representative of these voiceless souls to deliver divine punishment upon you! Your life shall pay the price for all the innocent spirits of Douluo!"

With that, Tang Wulin began channeling the Sea God Trident's ultimate technique the final strike of the Sea God's Thirteen Forms.

But despite his injuries, Ye Wen remained standing with defiant pride, his gaze full of disdain for this "righteous" group attacking him. He knew he'd reached his limit and that his mission on Douluo was almost complete.

"It's up to you now," he thought, feeling a surge of faith in his disciples. He had full confidence in those chosen by the Seven Elemental Gods, believing they could carry on his legacy and restore order to Douluo.

"Just a bit more, and you'll inherit my powers. I leave Douluo's fate in your hands," Ye Wen thought, hoping they would ascend to godhood soon and restore what might be lost to Tang Wulin's reckless ambitions.

As Tang Wulin unleashed the final, cataclysmic strike the "Sea God's Dusk" a brilliant golden ripple burst forth beneath Ye Wen, forming a ten meter wide barrier that reached toward the sky, encasing him.

Sea God's Dusk, brimming with divine energy, clashed violently against Ye Wen's golden barrier. The ground below shattered, and the fierce collision whipped up winds that hurled dust and debris into the sky, creating a massive sandstorm across the battlefield.

"What is this?" Tang Wulin gasped in disbelief. He had infused his attack with god level power, confident it could reach the threshold of a First Class God. Yet, somehow, Ye Wen's golden barrier had withstood it. The entire scene defied his understanding.

"Heh…" Ye Wen's soft laughter echoed across the battlefield.

"Surprised that I blocked your 'First Class' attack?" Ye Wen raised his head, meeting the shocked expressions of those around him. "You really think I'd tell you how? And even if I did, what good would it do you? This is my own invention a 12th level god grade soul guidance artifact! Unless you have the full power of a First Class God, your attacks are worthless before this barrier!"

Ye Wen's face bore an unrestrained expression of scorn as he looked at the others, his gaze saying plainly, "This is all you're capable of?"

The group stood there in shock, unable to respond. Ye Wen's title as the "God of Wisdom" now felt fully justified. The artifact he had crafted was unprecedented a tool of 12th level power capable of withstanding blows comparable to a god. This was something not even the soul guided technology of the Sun Moon Empire had achieved.

Seething with anger, Tang Wulin ground his teeth, furious at being ridiculed by Ye Wen. His pride as the "Child of God" and Douluo Continent's greatest talent was shattered. "Don't be so arrogant!" he snarled. "You think we don't realize how much power it takes to sustain a barrier like that? We'll just wait here until you're drained dry, then you're finished!"

Ye Wen's smirk deepened, his mocking gaze directed squarely at Tang Wulin. "It's amazing how you still don't get it. You truly are a talentless waste."

Tang Wulin's face turned dark as he activated his Purple Demon Eyes to their fullest, focusing on the intricate markings on Ye Wen's barrier. The truth hit him like a slap, and he burst out in rage.

"Ye Wen, you coward! Do you really plan on running away? You lowly coward!"

Ye Wen shook his head, his eyes conveying his disdain. Even the gods watching in the Divine Realm couldn't help but scoff at Tang Wulin.

This Tang Wulin… Does he even understand what he's saying?

They thought, if not for the foul trick Tang San had pulled, these eight wouldn't have lasted against Ye Wen. And now, Ye Wen, who had almost defeated them, had decided to retreat strategically. Yet here was Tang Wulin, barking about cowardice.

Even as the gods silently criticized Tang Wulin, they sensed a disturbance and turned in unison to look in the same direction.

Meanwhile, Ye Wen dropped his mocking expression, his face settling into a faint smile. The subtle confidence in his look only made Tang Wulin more enraged, his sense of inferiority burning anew. Here he was, a god's son, humiliated before a man he had hoped to crush.

Driven to the brink of hatred, Tang Wulin snarled, "Go on, Ye Wen. Run if you dare. But know that I will tear down the Tianxing Federation you built. I'll hunt down every one of your disciples, and I will slaughter them all one by one! I'll make sure they suffer, die, and are forgotten!"

This was the same Tang Wulin who had once been a symbol of kindness, yet now he revealed only the twisted face of one consumed by hatred and vengeance.

Chapter 617: Ultimate Divine Battle, Part Six

Ye Wen's face turned cold at Tang Wulin's words, his gaze filled with icy contempt, as though looking upon a dead man.

"If you think you can do it, then try, you pathetic child relying on others."

With that, Ye Wen vanished within a flash of golden light, disappearing entirely from Tang Wulin and his group's sight. Yet, in that split second before his departure, Ye Wen exuded a fleeting but overpowering aura a trace of his former godly dominance. The intensity of his presence sent chills down their spines, though it was so brief that some dismissed it as an illusion.

Tang Wulin clenched his fists, his eyes brimming with bitterness and rage. Once again, he had tasted the bitterness of failure at the hands of Ye Wen an opponent who had consistently humiliated him. He had never imagined that Ye Wen, a god, would forsake divine pride and simply flee. Worse, he hadn't just run but had used a godly transportation technique to transfer directly into the Divine Realm itself a feat beyond anything Tang Wulin had ever conceived.

Tang Wulin had known that Ye Wen might attempt to escape but hadn't anticipated this: an escape that traversed worlds, transporting him instantly to the Divine Realm. This level of dimensional transfer was beyond anything even Tang Wulin, the son of a god, could have fathomed.

In his frustration, Tang Wulin's gaze turned venomous, his eyes filled with seething fury. A cruel grin spread across his face as he muttered, "So you think you're above me, huh? You think I won't harm Huo Yuhao's disciples or anyone else? Fine, then sit back and watch from the Divine Realm as I tear your students and all the women around you apart."

Tang Wulin turned to his exhausted companions with a determined sneer. "Let's go. Ye Wen may be gone, but his vile nation remains. We'll dismantle it and establish our own kingdom of ideals."

The excitement in Tang Wulin's voice grew. He understood that, while Ye Wen had escaped, the Douluo Continent had lost its strongest defender. Now, it was his to claim, a paradise ripe for his taking.

The seven others glanced at each other, sharing a silent agreement before following Tang Wulin toward Tianxing Academy, the heart of the Tianxing Federation. But unbeknownst to them, a surveillance device had been recording their every move from the distant mountains.

In a hidden safehouse, Orange softly whispered, "Thank you, Master," before pressing a red button marked with a crossed skull symbol.

Boom!!!

In an instant, a blinding mushroom cloud bloomed over the Douluo Continent, a stunning explosion that shook the world. And in the Divine Realm, Ye Wen arrived at the Divine Committee, joining the gathering gods as they bore witness to this spectacle.

Though Ye Wen's face was pale, his body fragile from recent battles, he met the gazes of the assembled gods without fear. He greeted them with a respectful bow.

"Honored gods, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

There is always more respect for a polite person who follows the rules than for an arrogant fool, and the gods nodded in response to his courtesy.

The God of Destruction spoke, his voice carrying curiosity. "An interesting young god indeed. I assume that explosion was part of your plan all along? I sensed you avoided battles where civilians could be harmed, even going so far as to relocate the fight, but I'm curious why you chose such a distant battlefield. Was that area prepared?"

Now in the safety of the Divine Realm, Ye Wen felt no need to hold back. He was about to respond, but a gentle female voice interrupted.

"Destruction, give him a moment to recover. You can see he's still injured, can't you? Let's let him heal first," she said.

As her words fell, a soothing aura of life enveloped Ye Wen, his injuries fading as a warm divine energy flowed through him. Even the cracks in his divine armor mended before everyone's eyes. Ye Wen recognized this as the power of the Goddess of Life, a being of remarkable kindness. He had chosen to exile her and the God of Destruction rather than kill them out of respect, knowing their kindness and mercy.

Once fully healed, Ye Wen thanked the Goddess of Life and turned back to the gods. "Yes, I had indeed prepared for this outcome. From the beginning, I knew who my true enemy was, and I anticipated the kind of battle it would be."

"If this had been an honorable, balanced fight, I'd never have resorted to such tactics," Ye Wen continued, his gaze calm but resolute. "But I quickly realized it wouldn't be. The sudden surge in my opponents' power was...suspicious. My painstakingly developed armor systems were countered in an impossibly short time, and there were even attempts on my students' lives by unseen hands. It wasn't hard to piece together who was behind it all."

"The opponent I faced came from the Sect of HaoTian, bore the surname Tang, held the Sea God title, and constantly promoted the Tang Sect founder's 'glorious legacy' to draw faith. I am almost certain that my true enemy is the Sea God Tang San from ten thousand years ago...or rather, Tang San the God of Shura, since the Sea God title has been passed down."

Tang San, with his head full of silver hair and clad in the black and red armor of the God of Shura, clenched his fists. Ye Wen's words made him angrier than ever.

Yet, here in the Divine Realm, before the assembly of gods, Tang San could neither deny his involvement nor act against Ye Wen. His personal grievances were not sufficient reason to violate the rules of the gods.

The God of Destruction noticed Tang San's frustration, and a satisfied smile tugged at his lips. Unlike the more passive gods of the Divine Realm, the God of Destruction had long yearned to restore the gods to greatness. Watching Tang San's discomfort, he felt a surge of admiration for Ye Wen's audacity.

The God of Destruction summoned a divine throne and placed it before Ye Wen. "Have a seat. There's no rush to build your divine palace just yet. I imagine you'll want to watch what unfolds on Douluo below."

Ye Wen nodded graciously and took his place on the throne. The God of Destruction positioned his throne among those of the First Class Gods, much to the surprise of some. Yet none of the gods objected. Ye Wen had just fended off eight gods single handedly, displaying undeniable strength and potential.

The gods were keenly aware: one day, this newcomer might very well sit beside the Divine Kings themselves.

Chapter 618: Ultimate Divine Battle, Part Seven

The massive explosion left such a shockwave across Douluo that it unsettled the continent's tectonic plates, creating a deep rift that ran between Douluo and the connected Sun Moon Continent. The devastation threatened to split them apart entirely.

The epicenter of the blast was still shrouded in dense yellow smoke. A towering mushroom cloud rose tens of kilometers into the sky, stretching a thousand kilometers in all directions. Even the Divine Realm's gods couldn't immediately discern Tang Wulin and his group's condition.

However, the gods didn't mind waiting. In fact, the suspense only added to their excitement. Only Tang San's face remained dark and clouded his precious son had taken the brunt of that explosion. On top of that, he had entrusted his precious first class godhood to his son. He couldn't afford to have it all lost in one blow.

The God of Destruction, however, seemed especially impressed. "Ye Wen, you truly are a genius. The destruction from that blast it's almost at the level of a first class god."

After their initial exchanges, Ye Wen and the God of Destruction had grown more comfortable with each other, ignoring the usual formality between a God King and an ordinary god. Ye Wen nodded in acknowledgment. "I'm not sure what criteria you have for a first class god, but I based the attack on my maximum power output. This Soul Cannon shell, like the teleportation device I used, was a 12th level soul tool. I set it to match my own peak strength as a second class god. But based on your assessment, I suppose it could be considered an entry level 13th grade soul tool."

The gods, intrigued by Douluo's soul tool technology, had looked into the topic. A ninth level Soul Cannon equated to an attack at the limit of a Hyper Douluo's strength (though the term "Hyper Douluo" was broad and encompassed limit Douluos, demi gods, and quasi gods). A tenth level Soul Cannon had never actually been built, though two tenth level soul tools had been made. However, the gods generally found them unimpressive, thinking they barely surpassed ninth level capabilities. Only by reaching true god level power could a tool deserve a "tenth level" classification.

Ye Wen's four word battle armor was the sole exception, which gods deemed a true tenth level tool. Technically, it could empower a Soul Douluo to achieve limit Douluo power. As the Soul Master's rank increased, a user at level 99 could reach godhood with the armor's aid.

The five word battle armor was rated as an eleventh level soul tool, granting its user powers at a third class god level. But Ye Wen, committed to training his students, restricted its usage to emergencies. The six word battle armor, a twelfth level tool, was on par with a second class god's power.

This new Soul Cannon shell was now considered a quasi 13th level weapon. Though it didn't yet reach the peak of first class godly power, it had gained Ye Wen recognition among the gods. Despite his third class god status, his raw destructive force placed him on par with first class gods.

This rise stirred jealousy in Tang San, his face darkening further. As a dual god inheritor, Tang San had needed centuries of training on Douluo to reach second class godhood before even qualifying for the Divine Realm. Years of painstaking cultivation had finally raised him to the pinnacle of first class godhood, after abandoning Sea God Island and disregarding his legacy on the mortal plane.

Bitterness gnawed at Tang San. His journey to godhood had been an arduous grind, and here Ye Wen had achieved recognition as a first class god purely through genius and invention.

Tang San wanted Ye Wen's soul tool secrets for himself; such technology would only shine under a god king's mastery. But his plan would have to wait. For now, he suppressed his ambitions, quietly determined to outmaneuver Ye Wen. If he couldn't take Ye Wen's knowledge openly, he'd find another way.

Tang San's gaze returned to the thick, swirling dust cloud over Douluo. "Others may be uncertain, but with my Sea God's Trident protecting him, Wulin won't be killed. This could be an opportunity."

Focusing intently, Tang San located the remnant divine imprint he'd left on Tang Wulin. With a single thought, he issued a divine command.

"Eliminate the Tianxing Federation. Seize all the soul tool data Ye Wen left behind."

Since direct confrontation wasn't viable, Tang San would work through his agents on Douluo. If they unified the continent, Tang San could eventually claim Ye Wen's legacy by leveraging Douluo's faith and destiny.

Half a day later, at the Divine Crater

This ring like geological feature would later become known as the "Holy Crater," a site revered by future generations of Douluo citizens as a symbol of Ye Wen and Huo Yuhao's disciples.

A hand suddenly burst from the loose soil, clawing its way to the surface. It was Tang Wulin, his face still dazed. Had he been prepared, his first class god defenses would have absorbed the blow, especially with the trident's power. But the blast had come without warning, sending him flying before he'd had time to react. After a moment of stunned silence, he recalled the events that led to his condition and cursed under his breath.

Fighting an opponent like Ye Wen who was skilled in both combat and subterfuge had finally filled him with genuine dread.

Chapter 619: Ultimate Divine Battle, Part Eight

Tang Wulin, having finally regained his senses, received his father Tang San's divine directive with a faint, bitter smile.

"Eliminate the Tianxing Federation and seize all of Ye Wen's soul tool knowledge… Father certainly has assigned me quite the difficult task."

Blinded by greed, Tang San had overlooked a crucial fact: the technology behind the four word battle armor had already been reverse engineered by Tang San himself. The truly advanced techniques were unlikely to be accessible to ordinary Tianxing Federation members and were surely held only by Ye Wen's direct disciples. If Tang Wulin wanted to capture this knowledge, he would have to confront Huo Yu'er and her allies directly.

Although they were already locked in a fight to the death, Tang Wulin lacked confidence in his ability to extract such highly classified knowledge from these exceptional talents. He was a warrior, not an intelligence expert.

Moreover, Tang Wulin glanced up at the sky, a dark realization dawning on him: the Divine Realm was likely now fully aware of what was happening on Douluo. Although Tang San hadn't revealed that his own ascent to godhood had involved some behind the scenes manipulation, Wulin wasn't a naïve child anymore. His failed plan to revive the Tang Sect had taught him the ruthless calculus of business and strategy, sharpening his thinking significantly.

While Wulin still respected Tang San, he understood that his father's victory over the gods of Rakshasa and Angel had been possible because they lacked Divine Realm support. But now that Ye Wen had evaded them by ascending to the Divine Realm, a multitude of gods would be watching Douluo closely, given the rise of a self made god and the powerful divine group representing the Seven Elemental Gods.

Wulin had noticed, too, that Tang San had seemed constrained in recent years, with commands and resources both arriving in a trickle. All signs pointed to his father being held back by something.

Without Tang San as his steadfast protector, a chill of insecurity washed over Wulin. For a brief moment, bitterness filled his mouth as he realized his own dependency. Was he, after all, nothing more than a pawn propped up by others?

The bitterness subsided, replaced by renewed resolve.

"I'll leave the soul tool knowledge aside for now. I refuse to believe that… Even without Ye Wen, I still have seven divine allies, each at high god officer rank with powerful divine equipment. My forces are full fledged second class gods, seasoned by countless battles. Even if the other side has ascended, they only have seven new gods. Watch me, Ye Wen I'll prove to you that Tang Wulin isn't a failure!"

Steeling himself, Wulin pulled himself to his feet.

Though Ye Wen's post departure trap had inflicted considerable damage, the eight gods had narrowly escaped, albeit in a pitiful state. Tang Wulin's once resplendent Sea God armor was now riddled with cracks and on the verge of shattering. But like Tang San, Wulin had inherited the vast reserves of faith energy from the Sea God's domain, allowing his armor to repair itself swiftly.

With his own injuries about 80% healed, Tang Wulin began his next task: searching for his allies.

In the meantime, the severity of Wulin's injuries compared to those of his comrades revealed his true feelings about their hierarchy. Even his adoptive "uncles," Da Ming and Er Ming, were far from his priority.

Wulin's powerful divine senses soon located the others. As fate would have it, those closest to the explosion were Wulin himself, followed by Da Ming, Er Ming, and Xuan Zi.

Da Ming, blessed with the regenerative abilities of the serpent god's Yaqi Orochi form, healed quickly. Er Ming and Xuan Zi, both fortified with exceptionally resilient martial spirits, had endured the blast with little more than superficial injuries.

The others, however, had fared worse. The Speed God and Butterfly God had the weakest defenses; by the time Wulin found them, their bones had been shattered. If not for the strength of their godhoods, they would have fallen to mortals and perished. Tiger God's armor was mostly destroyed, but his inherently robust martial spirit helped him recover with only a few broken bones. Ma Xiaotao, the Phoenix God, used her lineage's strongest ability rebirth to rapidly regenerate her wounds. Had Wulin arrived a bit later, she would have been fully healed.

Seeing his team's dismal state, Wulin frowned. They had come brimming with confidence to vanquish Ye Wen, only to barely escape with their lives. Anyone would feel bitter.

But now that they had survived, he was ready to begin his true campaign not by pursuing soul tool knowledge, as Tang San had ordered, but by seizing Douluo's territories while Huo Yu'er and the others remained embroiled in their divine assessments.

Why this focus on territories? Wulin was finally learning the value of resources.

The Sea God's divine position, being one of Douluo's last self created godhoods, had left a profound mark on the continent, amassing a vast reserve of faith energy over the centuries. This same faith not only elevated the Sea God Trident to the rank of supreme artifact, envied by all other god kings, but also provided enough energy for Tang San to reach god king status himself using the Asura God position.

However, when the faith energy reached Wulin, it had already been greatly depleted, spread thin by years of distribution among his followers. As a result, he was forced to ration what little remained.

So, while Huo Yu'er and the others were still focused on their divine trials, Tang Wulin planned to replenish his strength by conquering Douluo territory and exact vengeance on Ye Wen.

Watching his subordinates tend to their injuries, Wulin began deploying them with specific orders. He divided Douluo into regions for each to capture, accelerating their campaign to seize control of the Tianxing Federation.

In their impending clash with Huo Yu'er and the others, they would use hostages as leverage, stacking the odds in their favor.

It was ruthless but Wulin justified it with the Tang family's familiar double standard of "justice."

Chapter 620: Ultimate Divine Battle, Part Nine

In Tang Wulin's view, Ye Wen and Huo Yu'er were villains, and those allied with them were mere accomplices profiting from their misdeeds and deserving no mercy. They needed to understand the true weight of "justice from above."

Just as Tang Wulin excitedly handed out a list of targets, a cold but holy presence appeared, chilling the air.

"Hm?" Tang Wulin murmured in surprise, turning his gaze skyward.

Before he could react, a sinister laughter echoed around him.

"Heh, heh, heh… Every cause has its effect, and I am your retribution!"

At those words, Tang Wulin and his companions found themselves bound by murky, gray chains, each one holding them tightly in place.

"What is this!?" Recognizing the divine energy embedded within the chains, Tang Wulin's expression darkened as he struggled fiercely against them.

This unexpected twist left not only Tang Wulin's group stunned but also caused a stir among the gods of the Divine Realm.

The God of Destruction, who had just been mocking Tang Wulin's lack of honor, suddenly seemed to realize something. He looked toward Ye Wen.

"Ye Wen, do you know this person?"

Ye Wen nodded slightly, a faint smile gracing his face. "Yes. He's a friend and the beloved of one of my disciples, as well as a new god who created his own divine domain."

"Oh!" The God of Destruction's eyes brightened with interest.

Since the Dragon God's time, no one had risen to form their own divinity without outside help. It was rare to see new gods born purely from self cultivation something the God of Destruction, who dreamed of restoring the Divine Realm's glory, yearned to witness.

As he was about to ask Ye Wen more, the God of Destruction's attention was caught by the battle in the mirror below. A figure cloaked in gray, exuding both deathly energy and holy light, stepped out of the shadows. In his hand was a cluster of chains, each extending to bind Tang Wulin's party.

Tang Wulin and his allies struggled against the chains, sensing their unusual power. Even without having trained in the Divine Realm, Da Ming was highly knowledgeable. Though he had never held a divine position, he had long studied various realms and quickly deduced the nature of their current threat.

"Everyone, struggle with all your might! His divine authority is embedded in these chains. I don't know its exact nature, but if it invades our bodies, we'll be entirely at his mercy!"

The newcomer, Electrolux, chuckled, unfazed at having his technique exposed.

Raising his right hand, he summoned an enormous scythe over two meters long, larger even than himself. The air filled with a thick miasma of death as the scythe appeared. Seeing this ominous weapon, Da Ming's eyes widened, flashing with recognition.

A memory from eons past resurfaced. Tang San once had a titled Douluo in his service whose title was "Bone." His martial spirit had been a bone dragon a creature of the undead that did not naturally belong to Douluo.

Feeling both the scythe's aura and the divine power of death within it, Da Ming's face turned grim as a chilling realization struck him.

"Be careful, everyone. He could very well be… the God of Death!"

The warning shocked not only Tang Wulin and his team but also sparked an uproar among the Divine Realm's gods.

In any world, certain archetypal gods commanded instinctive reverence, such as gods of creation, the sun, the earth, and death. The Divine Realm gods exchanged uneasy glances before looking expectantly toward the God of Destruction, knowing that only someone of his stature could truly judge the authenticity of this newcomer.

The God of Destruction's expression became uncharacteristically serious. His purple eyes glowed with divine energy, exuding an aura so potent that several nearby gods grew uneasy. Here was the might of a true god king.

After a few moments, the God of Destruction smiled, his expression breaking into joyous laughter.

"Hahaha! Who would've thought? A mortal who has forged the divine position of Death itself this is the miraculous potential of life in its purest form!"

Still laughing, he declared, "Rejoice, everyone! We are about to welcome another god king into our ranks. This one has fused the authority of both Death and Divine Purification, creating a new dominion over purified souls. With this brilliance, he's sure to reach the realm of a god king. With him among us, the Divine Realm's future will be bright indeed we may even regain our former glory!"

Many of the lesser gods failed to understand his excitement, but that didn't stop them from cheering alongside their superior, eager to curry favor.

Tang San, however, was in no mood to celebrate. He had no interest in expansion or the restoration of the Divine Realm's former grandeur his only goal was supreme authority. Now, yet another potential rival had appeared, a future god king, no less! And worse still, this newcomer was clearly an ally of Ye Wen.

Tang San's thoughts churned in frustration. What was happening with Douluo at this point in time? Not only was there a group of disciples inheriting the Seven Elemental Gods, but now two individuals had even created their own godly domains!

Had he, Tang San, somehow managed to invite the wrath of fate?

While Tang San brooded, uneasy about the implications of his son's situation, Tang Wulin and his team were visibly panicking on the battlefield.

Seeing Electrolux brandishing his giant scythe, they frantically began to unleash their full power.

Though they couldn't tell exactly what the scythe's purpose was, they instinctively knew it wasn't for show. This was not the time to hesitate.

With the combined force of their explosive energy, the chains began to crack, but that was all the time Electrolux needed.

Swinging his deathly scythe, he opened a gateway into the realm of the dead.
