Taking in my bag, I gaze at the open sky above. Cold winds snake through my hoodie, giving me a welcome, gentle chill. An ocean of calming midnight blue, sprinkled with countless stars, makes me pause. Taking a deep whiff of the surrounding nature and the sea gives me some much-needed peace and quiet.
"..." City lights flicker across the sea. Modern life is wrapped in technology and frivolous overstimulation.
Here, a lone house sits miles away from civilization. With Lorette's wealth, she could create a small farm here and sustain it for her own food, and only have to source meat from outside connections. Then she can work remotely in peace, only making routine inspections across her business to answer business reports and to keep a lay on the land.
I'm a writer and an artist. All of my work is remote. It's only outside if I ever need a change of pace. A house like this, surrounded by nature and the sea, sounds perfect for me.
"Ah, well, I still have a permanent residence. I can worry about houses sometime soon." As my reminiscing comes to a close, I return inside to a heater that toasts my body.
"Oh, Jona!" A cheerful voice calls to me, snapping me out of my daze. I didn't even realize until I got out of it. "Did you go somewhere?"
I turn around to see white flowing hair down, pretty sapphire eyes blinking up at me with a curious expression.
"Good evening, Yulia." Seeing her face feels refreshing- an urge wells within. You could call it cuteness aggression.
I wrap my arms around her, burying my head in her cloudy white hair. The smell of faintly scented shampoo tickles my nose, relaxing my brain. My body feels heavier as I take deep whiffs. "Just had a friend deliver some stuff for me for the staycation..." I mutter.
"Sorry for the sudden hug," I add, trying to rise from her.
"No, it's fine!" She'd stop me.
"Oh! Okay...!" Yulia's form twitches at first from my hug before slowly melting down to conform into my embrace. She shivers from my deep breaths. "What a little big baby..." She fawns, wrapping her arms under mine, running them across my back. Satisfying tingles crawl across my skin. "Are you tired?" Her question, oh so innocent, makes me feel recognized.
And that, to us men, is irreplaceable.
"Yeah, helping Miss Nat was more tiring than I expected..." I grunt, surrendering a bit more body weight to the smaller woman.
"She's definitely a handful..." Yulia nods against my chest, running her hands down my shoulder blades. "I remember being her hugging pillow for two whole hours when I helped her get to bed..." She'd pat my back, and we'd part.
"How was the experience?" I chuckle.
"I can't breathe! Her boobs are so big it's half her entire torso, you know?" She'd sigh, crossing her arms. Yulia must be reminiscing on it. Her crumpled eyebrows framing her albino lashes are adorable. "You couldn't pull away even if you tried! Feels like she has a different strength when hugging someone than she does normally..."
"Ahaha, yeah..." Memories flash across my mind. Embrace, huh...? "I get you."
"Look at you, widdle baby is sho tired..." She puts her hand across my cheek, pulling on it lightly. Chilly to the touch, but it resonates deep. "You look so tired- I'll let you sleep! You don't have to dream of me, I'm just a few doors away, okay?" She'd pat it, giggling with a cheeky grin, bouncing off to the kitchen as she waved.
"Good night," I reply, frankly stunned at an open invitation. Sadly, I can't muster up any desire right now, even if I wanted to.
I walk up the stairs, set my bag in my room, undress myself to my underwear, and head off to sleep. Fatigue wastes no time working through my body.
Having to fight a man triple my size, defending a woman in her own convenience store, being invited to a girl's staycation, "tucking" one of them to sleep, being invited by another, while being seduced by the house owner of the staycation.
I need some rest so I can face everyone properly tomorrow...
