"No can do, Darling," Annabelle said as she dragged Adrian through the hallway, pulling him toward the room.
"But Bella, they need to arrange the flowers properly. Aria doesn't like blue lilies," Adrian argued.
"I'll take care of it, so don't worry. Your only job right now is to get ready for the wedding." Once they stepped inside the room, she turned to him with a gentle smile. "It's not just her wedding, Darling. You need to look good too."
Adrian let out a long sigh, his shoulders slumping.
"Truth be told, I'm just trying to keep myself distracted," he admitted.
A faint smile spread across Annabelle's lips.
"Are you nervous, Darling?"
"Of course I am. It's my first time getting married," he replied.
Annabelle couldn't help but giggle. It wasn't often that she saw Adrian this anxious over something, and the reason behind it was so endearing.
After a brief silence, she spoke again.
"I'm glad, Darling... that you made this decision."
Adrian tilted his head in confusion.
