"Decelerate!"
On the ship, General Keen picked up the intercom and ordered.
Kawazaki Shun was silently surprised at the side; the other side was actually slowing down at this moment.
They were almost approaching the island.
General Keen picked up the binoculars and observed the island again.
There were no defense arrays on the island, nor any obvious buildings.
It looked lush and green, with many mutant plants, tall and sturdy, demonstrating much life force despite the storm's assault.
General Keen frowned and said, "Could it be an uninhabited island?"
Kawazaki hurriedly replied, "That's unlikely; with land resources so scarce now, how could there be empty land?"
General Keen nodded slightly, acknowledging the point.
Now there's not even an empty spot on bigger boats, let alone land.
In this flood-submerged world, any carrier able to float on water had become exceedingly precious.
It's unlikely to be uninhabited.
