Dimitri's hand was instantly refilled to the limit. He burst into a loud, boisterous laugh. "The unwavering bond between me and my deck has called forth a miracle once again!"
The crowd was speechless.
Why the hell are you acting so in character with a stolen deck?
"Now the real fight begins. Watch closely," Dimitri declared. "I activate the Spell Card, Dark Magic Veil! By paying 1000 Life Points, I can Special Summon a DARK Spellcaster-type monster from my hand or Graveyard!"

A pitch-black magic circle expanded across the ground. A mage clad in dark robes flew out from the center. His green staff spun twice in the air before landing firmly in his hand amidst a storm of magical power.

The atmosphere reached a fever pitch. The spectating students were beyond excited. "Dark Magician! It's the Dark Magician!"
That was the legendary signature monster of the King of Games himself an ultra-rare card!
"Next, I activate the Spell Card, Bond Between Teacher and Student," Dimitri continued. "When Dark Magician is on my field, I can Special Summon Dark Magician Girl from my deck! Appear now, the Dark Magician's most powerful apprentice Dark Magician Girl, summon!"
A young girl stepped lightly out of a floating magic circle. Her brilliant blonde hair flowed like waves of golden wheat, and her skin was fair and translucent. Her figure was lithe and graceful, and her vibrant robes fluttered with every lively movement.
Among the students, those who considered themselves "gentlemen" immediately stared with wide eyes.
To them, three words summed her up perfectly: cleavage, big, and white.
Another wave of cheers erupted.
"Dark Magician Girl!"
"Dimitri, you magnificent bastard!"
The "gentlemen" of the academy instantly formed a united front, offering their heartfelt approval to Dimitri for giving them a chance to see the legendary "everyone's waifu."
To see the Dark Magician master and apprentice duo in action at the same time—today was already a massive win for them.

"I destroy all face-up 'Kuriboh' and 'Kuriboh Tokens' I control. Then, I can destroy cards my opponent controls, up to the number of Kuribohs destroyed."
"What?" Dimitri gasped in shock.
A Kuriboh suicide terror attack?
This was a move Yugi had used back in the Duelist Kingdom era. Yugi had claimed that Kuriboh could multiply infinitely and that every single clone could self-destruct.
While Yugi's explanation back in the Duelist Kingdom era sounded like he was making up the rules as he went, Kuriboh likely possessed that hidden potential. Now that the rules of Dueling had been perfected, that ability had been codified into this Spell Card, allowing a recreation of that legendary tactic.
"I have three Kuriboh Tokens remaining on the field," Youxuan stated. "Therefore, I destroy three cards on your field: Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl, and your Set Dark Magic Attack!"
"Kuri Kuri!"
Three Kuribohs launched themselves into the air, locking onto their respective targets before slamming into them head-first. They looked exceedingly fierce.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Three explosions rocked the field, wiping Dimitri's side completely clean. The rare master and apprentice duo were gone just as soon as they had arrived, following in the footsteps of Royal Straight Slasher.
Kuriboh: Kuri! (Who's the ace now?)
Dimitri felt like he was about to suffocate.
Kuriboh! It's that damn Kuriboh again!
I finally managed to bring out the legendary mages! Legendary monsters! Can't you just let me enjoy the moment for five seconds?
The crowd shared his grief.
Dammit... we finally got to see them, and they were gone in the blink of an eye.
"You bastard..." Dimitri gritted his teeth. "Fine. I activate the Spell Card, Pot of Avarice! I shuffle five monsters from my Graveyard back into my deck, then I draw two cards."
He revealed five monsters from his Graveyard in one go.
"I shuffle King's Knight, Queen's Knight, Jack's Knight, Dark Magician, and Dark Magician Girl back into the deck! Draw!"
After drawing, the look of agony vanished from his face. His eyes lit up, and a smirk returned.
"Heh, it seems the deck hasn't given up on me yet," Dimitri chuckled. "Using this card to end our battle is poetic. Now, I shall summon the true strongest monster of this deck, the King of Games' greatest warrior!
"I banish the DARK monster, Kuriboh, and the LIGHT monster, White Magician Pikeru, which were sent to the Graveyard by the effect of Royal Straight Slasher.
"The legendary ultimate swordsman descends now!"
Dimitri raised his arm high and roared.
"Manifest, Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning!"
The clouds of the Chaos field churned as a pillar of golden light struck the earth. Blades of light and shadow cleaved through the atmosphere. The legendary warrior appeared, his entire form bathed in a divine golden radiance.

"There it is," Youxuan smiled. "Black Luster Soldier."
As he spoke, the spirit form of Youxuan's own Black Luster Soldier appeared beside him.
"It looks like we're facing the same type of monster," Youxuan teased his spirit. "But don't expect me to go easy. The next scene might get a bit messy; I suggest you look away."
Spirit of Black Luster Soldier: "..."
He recalled the various duels where his master had tormented his opponents. He suddenly felt that Youxuan was telling the truth.
The spirit nodded and voluntarily flew back into the deck to avoid the upcoming spectacle. He didn't want his mental state to be affected either.
"No one in this academy understands the power of the ultimate warrior better than you, Youxuan!" Dimitri's ego inflated again. "And now, that power is mine! Battle! Envoy of the Beginning attacks Catapult Turtle!"
Youxuan snapped his fingers. "I flip my face-down! Continuous Trap: Fiendish Chain. It binds the Envoy of the Beginning, preventing it from attacking and negating its effects!"

Five colorful, fluffy Kuribohs filled the field.
This was the Kuriboh deck used by Yami Yugi during the DM era, which was only turned into actual cards many years later.

"Direct... attack?" Dimitri looked at the five Kuribohs in terror.

A storm of dust kicked up, shattering the rainbow light. The aura surrounding the Kuribohs vanished.
"As long as I destroy it before you Tribute your Kuriboh, there's nothing to fear!" Dimitri's face began to twist with desperation. "Well? Can you still humiliate me with that trash now?"
Youxuan rubbed his chin.
The kid's mental state was clearly collapsing. He'd even forgotten his cosplay act, calling Kuriboh "trash."
Youxuan slowly closed his eyes.
"Fine," Youxuan said calmly. "Since you insisted, let me show you the most sinister and evil final ace of the Kuriboh deck."
Dimitri's heart skipped a beat.

Having been repeatedly tortured throughout this duel, Dimitri no longer dared to underestimate those fluffy one-star puffballs. He instinctively swallowed hard.

"I Tribute the Level 1 Kuriboh! Undergo a mutation and take on a new form! The fantasy monster Thousand-Eyes Restrict, summon!"
The Kuriboh was enveloped by the magical power of Metamorphosis as a dark cyclone erupted. The Kuriboh was swallowed by the eerie vortex, mutating across a perceived eternity until it transformed into a nightmare a dark, gruesome creature covered in terrifying eyeballs that could make anyone lose their sanity.

Dimitri was stunned.
This is the final form of a Kuriboh deck? Your boss monster is this thing?
What kind of 'Metamorphosis' is this? How does a Kuriboh mutate into something that looks like it came straight from hell?
"Thousand-Eyes Restrict, activate effect," Youxuan commanded. "Once per turn, I can absorb one monster you control and equip it to this card.
"I absorb your Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning."
An eerie black mist spread across the field. The Envoy of the Beginning let out a muffled groan as he was dragged into the body of the Restrict by the shadowy vortex. He struggled, swinging his blade in vain, but the edge passed through the darkness like water.
First his head was pulled into the black void in the monster's chest, then his arms and sword, followed by the rest of his body.
The spirits of Jinzo and Silent Magician, watching from the side, were silent.
Master Youxuan really wasn't exaggerating when he said he wasn't going to go easy. No wonder he told the Envoy to look away; this was definitely enough to cause physiological discomfort and psychological trauma.
Just look at Dimitri.
Dimitri's eyes had lost their light. "My Envoy... even my Envoy was..."

"During the opponent's Battle Phase, by banishing that card from the Graveyard, the Battle Phase can be forcibly ended. It's a powerful survival card."
Dimitri opened his mouth but couldn't find the words. He'd seen through everything.
"Soul Release allows me to banish up to five cards from either Graveyard. Therefore, before I enter my Battle Phase, I banish those five cards from your Graveyard including your Electromagnetic Turtle."
Dimitri was speechless.

He stared at Youxuan in disbelief.
He was using the "strongest deck" with a "perfect strategy," yet he had been completely suppressed from start to finish.

"Battle," Youxuan ordered. "Thousand-Eyes Restrict—"
He paused mid-sentence, reconsidering.
"Never mind. Restrict can sit this one out. Kuriboh brothers, direct attack!"
Dimitri screamed a string of curses.
The remaining four Kuriboh brothers flew into the air. "Kuri Kuri!"
A synchronized four-part headbutt!
Technically, it was an attack, but for Kuriboh, it was just slamming their fluffy bodies into his face at high speed.
The damage was lethal, and the insult was absolute.
