Hello guys, this is the first time I'm writing something like this (but there is first time for everything, as so this is my first novel).
I just want to say something with a little rant on top of it.
I'm sincerely grateful for the people who have read until now, however, I'm probably stopping the novel here on WebNovel after a few more chapters or end of the volume, I have yet to decide. But the novel won't end... only end in this platform.

There are a few reasons for that. Initially, I thought about only posting it here and having no reason to grow it, as I didn't really needed any traction.
But now, situation have changed a little. Although I don't search for monetary gain, as I haven't even applied to a contract yet (and won't, because WebNovel contract sucks but that is anoter matter), I want my novel to get traction.
That is the point the two problems converge. WebNovel is really poor to share a non-contracted novel, which I absolutely understand, since those who are contracted have a little more importance for the site itself.
But, as it is poor to share non-contracted novels, its contracts are also poor. For those who do not know, if you make a contract with WebNovel, your novel basically becomes theirs. They claim almost your whole series.
And since I don't want that, I won't be entering a contract.
On another topic--now the rant part--I think it's a little weird how this platform works.
I'm not claiming my novel is perfect (which we can agree it is far from it, as I even want to rewrite a lot of stuff, but that will pop up again soon), however, I think it's agreeable novels here are an absolutely shitshow for the most part, especially those who try to blindly copy sucessfull series, such as Solo Leveling, Shadow Slave (Which I haven't read yet, but plan to), even LOTM (far rarer for someone to try to copy, as it's quite complex).
Only a handful try to innovate or take another path, because WebNovel actually rewards those who write "systems and OP/Aura farmer mc" novel. Which is not a bad thing in all cases, but when 95% of the novels are like it, then it's a little weird in my opinion.
Well, stopping the yap session and entering another topic, I'm going to be majorly rewriting the novel from the first few chapters, changing lot's of stuff and etc.
... And, will no longer be posting here on WebNovel, but instead on RoyalRoad. I don't think a lot of people will read this, as I only have something around 50 likes and around 20 active readers, but for those who have read it, thanks for doing so.
Finally, answering a question that popped up in a comment/review about "is Faust going to remain a villain or become a anti-hero?"
I want to warn you that, the context of anti-hero is someone who does good things but using bad methods (usually), as a villain is someone who usually opposes the context/setting/dominant morality of the series.
Faust will not become an anti hero, but at the same time, not exactly a villain... depending how you see it. Most people in this world are cruel and power seeking, though most have a moral compass or a limit they refuse to break.
The MC, however, won't have a moral compass. There is no things off limit for what he could and will do. So, he won't fully oppose the setting, but instead, will take it to the next step... to the absolute you could say, hehe.
