She had been looking at the battle from above.
He had been living inside it.
And because of that, he had noticed things she had overlooked.
For a moment, the Priestess looked across the battlefield again, this time without trying to force what she was seeing into the shape of her original plan.
The Deputy Chieftain wasn't simply challenging her strategy.
He was showing her where it was failing.
And if she refused to acknowledge that now, then her pride could very well get them all killed.
"I have a plan." The Deputy Chieftain's expression hardened as he looked toward the warriors still fighting around them.
