While Haruna and her sister Akiho were sharing such an awkward moment, Akira—completely oblivious to everything—was heading home with a grin that took up his entire face.
"Now that I think about it… what's going on with the Omnitrix upgrade conditions? If I remember correctly, I should be pretty close to meeting all the requirements. Right?" I said to myself.
But I soon remembered I still had quite a ways to go. I needed 15 girls in my harem, and if I'm not mistaken (and I'm not), I currently have 11 girls in my harem: Lala, Yami, Momo, Nana, Dita, Haruna, Mikado, Mikan, Kari, Run, and the most recent addition, Nemesis, for a total of exactly 11 women.
"I still have 4 girls left and 5 more aliens to unlock… I'm close, but at the same time it feels really far away…" I sighed.
Getting 4 more girls was already difficult enough on its own, but I had no idea how to unlock more aliens. I've tried everything and I still can't unlock any more. Is something missing or am I just overlooking it? Either way, it looks like the upgrade will have to wait. There's still a long road ahead.
Akira sighed and continued on his way home.

At home.
After arriving home, Akira discovered that the girls still hadn't woken up. Since it was the weekend and there was no school, the girls had decided to sleep in late—something they always did—so Akira wasn't surprised.
"I think I should get a bit more sleep too," Akira said.
After all, there was nothing to do alone, and the girls would still take more than an hour to wake up, so making breakfast would just mean it would go cold. However, he couldn't go straight to sleep because he still smelled a little like sweat from all the sex he had with Haruna yesterday. So before going to bed, he decided to take a shower, get rid of the smell of sex and sweat, put on clean clothes, and then lie down.
It took him no more than 20 minutes to do everything he'd planned. When he finished, he went straight to his room to lie down for a bit, at least until the girls woke up. Lala's body was simply a masterpiece, a work of art that looked like it had been sculpted by the gods themselves. Perfect hips, breasts of the ideal size, a personality that made it impossible for anyone to dislike her, and a loving, clingy lover. His Lala was simply a perfect woman. Of course she had her little flaws, but they were insignificant compared to her huge number of virtues.
Of course that didn't mean the rest of his girls had less value in his heart. Quite the opposite—for him, all his women were his treasures, his family, and he would give his life for them if necessary, even for the newly arrived Nemesis.
After lying down next to Lala, hugging her with his right arm and gently pulling her toward him, Akira looked at the ceiling.
"I think I should stop adding girls to my harem for a while and focus on deepening my relationship with the girls I currently have," Akira said to himself.
Having many girls was great, but with some of them he didn't share the same bond he had with Lala or Yami, so that had to change.
"I've decided. I'll invite each girl on a date. I'll use that date to get to know my girls better and deepen our bond. That's how a harem should be," Akira nodded.
And it's true. Even though he wanted to have a huge harem, he didn't want the girls to be mere trophies or Pokémon to capture. He wanted a deep bond with all of them, to know their tastes, hobbies, fears, concerns, and he also wanted to tell them about himself. Only then would their bond deepen.
"Alright, that's what I'll do. No more making my harem bigger until I've had dates with all the girls," Akira nodded.
He already shared a very strong bond with Lala and Yami, but he couldn't say the same about the others. Even though he loved Nana and Momo and they loved him, they became lovers abruptly and he had never spent time alone with either of them. I repeat, even though they loved each other, he wanted to know everything about them, tell them about himself, and form an unbreakable bond.
With Mikan it had been a little better. Their bond was quite strong because it had taken him weeks to conquer her, but there was still something missing—something that would surely be settled on their future date.
On the other hand, his relationship with Kari had been very abrupt. He knew that Kari loved him deeply, and he loved her too, even though Kari's love was very obsessive, offering to do anything for him and even being very proactive when it came to sex, not caring about the moment or place. But there was still something missing for them to share the bond he so desperately wanted, a problem that would be solved on the date.
Dita was the perfect example of an abrupt relationship. They had met relatively recently and although he was sure that Dita loved him and he loved her, they still didn't know much about each other because until now they hadn't spent a day alone to talk and deepen their relationship—something that would change soon because he planned to form that bond with Dita. Maybe not on the date day itself, but at least it would advance a big step that day, allowing him to connect much more with her. With that, the bond would form over time, without rushing. Once they knew everything about each other, their relationship would improve even more and the bond that united them would only grow stronger.
Let's talk about Run and Nemesis. His relationship with them was merely superficial and although they were lovers and loved him—at least Run did, because Nemesis was difficult to read—their relationship was very superficial and he knew nothing about them, something that would change.
As for Haruna, yesterday was a clear example of what he wanted to do with the others, and with Mikado he would do the same today. If necessary, they wouldn't even have sex because sex isn't everything in a relationship. In a relationship, getting to know each other, knowing each other's hobbies, tastes, fears, and concerns—that's the only way to share that bond.
"I think I've been so anxious to get my favorite waifus that I forgot they are people and not collectible cards, but I promise that's going to change from now on," Akira said to himself.
After all, the girls aren't like Pokémon!
After thinking about it, Akira fell asleep while hugging his beloved girlfriend and future wife…

After getting up and having breakfast, Akira told the girls about his intentions to have a date with each of them.
Upon hearing his proposal, the girls smiled and got excited. After all, who wouldn't want a date with their beloved?
"Sounds perfect! I'll make the date schedules myself!" Lala said cheerfully.
"Plus, next week we have the whole week off… It's perfect for dates!" Dita nodded.
She was also excited about the idea. It was true that she loved Akira, but they still didn't know each other the way a couple should, so this date would be ideal.
"Sounds good to me. After all, our relationship is very superficial. That date will do us good," Nemesis nodded.
She had just been added to the harem and, unlike the rest, there had been no romantic story involved, just a lost bet. So the date was ideal for getting to know each other better. Plus, she was also curious about dates. She had never experienced one and wanted to know what they were like and what people did on them.

Next week was a national holiday, so we wouldn't have to go to school—a whole week of freedom before midterms, which take place on November 12, so we wouldn't have as much freedom… that's what the rest of the people would say. But in our house, except for Yami, none of us need to study for these exams because we have the entire curriculum completely memorized. For Lala, Momo, and Nana, who had already "graduated" from their school before coming to Earth, this material was for three-year-old kids—common sense for the rest of the galaxy. Dita was surprisingly intelligent and was the one in charge of reinforcing Yami in the subjects she struggled with most, while Nemesis wasn't in school yet. Even though she said she wanted to go, I told her to wait until after the exams so she wouldn't have to take them, which are already quite tedious by themselves.
{Note: This isn't entirely true. In reality, midterms are in mid-October and finals at the end of November or beginning of December, but due to date errors I was forced to postpone them. Because of that, the dates can take place without any obstacles and we'd even have 5 extra days to review if we wanted, so there's nothing to worry about because there was time for everyone. As for whether we'd do a study group or not… that would have to wait a few days because we haven't decided anything yet, and honestly, I'm not in the mood at all.
"Alright, Yami and I can be the last ones. After all, we're the closest to Akira, so we could start with Momo or Nana, in order. Don't worry, I'll make a schedule you'll all like," Lala said with a smile.
No one said anything because they knew Lala would make a good date schedule. So now they just had to wait for their turn. A whole day alone with Akira… just thinking about it made them unable to stop smiling, and when Mikan, Kari, and Run found out… they would probably think exactly the same.
With that said, I rested with the girls, spending some family time until the moment of my date with Mikado arrived—a date that should have lasted all day, but that only consists of dinner at a restaurant I reserved almost a week ago and an intense night of sex that would end the next day… a good plan, but I would have preferred to take Mikado on a date, spend a full day together and not just one night and a little more. But since Mikado insisted it wasn't necessary… who was I to oppose her opinion? Obviously my bond with her wasn't too strong either, so during dinner I'll try to strengthen it a little.
