The fact that the Valkan had both Sagehood as well as the Spirit Arts basically rendered Farlow's advantage useless! But thankfully, Farlow was not the only person fighting!

A figure suddenly appeared from the other side of the forest, and Gina pulled her hand back over her head as a long wind-blade materialized! The Valkan was in the middle of trying to swipe at Farlow again, so Gina knew that she had a few seconds before the monster could turn towards her, and she was going to use those seconds to give it at least one serious injury! But the winds suddenly shifted, and Farlow gasped as he felt the Valkan's attention moving towards Gina!
"Gina, watch out!"
