They had to keep moving if they wanted to finish this mission and get out of here as soon as possible. Agiel moved down from Jason's hold and placed her feet on the ground while still looking around cautiously. The two mages simply refused to let their guard down no matter what, and Jason took Agiel's hand and kept her close as they continued on their way towards the center of the cloud.
There was a deep, unnatural silence that stretched across the darkness, and only the occasional comment from Jason or Agiel would fill the quiet for a few seconds! Agiel and Jason were doing their best to listen out for the strange voice that had spoken to them, but for some reason, it didn't speak up again. The mouths also didn't appear a second time, and Jason began to wonder if the voice was responsible for getting rid of the mouths attacking them!
