The red moonlight had yet to escape the bed, Vina stirring between them. Her body still warm and loose from the first round, a thigh over Lucifer's hip, Ella's arm curled around her waist from behind and Luna's fingers tracing idle patterns along the inside of her forearm. The chamber reeked of sex and residual power, none of them bothering with sheets.
Lucifer took in the sight of Vina's face in the dim lighting, the sharp focus she normally wore as a shadow guard lost. Instead she had a look of something open and a little dazed as her eyes finally opened and locked onto his. She did not look away or try to hide the fact she was not interested in rebuilding the space between them.
"You are staring," she said, voice rough. "If you are already thinking about reports or the next threat, I will be disappointed."
