Hello everyone, thanks for everyone reading this story till the latest chapters despite it's rough start.
Now, there are few things I need to make sure, that our relationship is strictly of strangers, so you owe me nothing, read it if you like or leave if you do not like. But likewise, I owe you nothing, I know there are many criticisms, but the quality of majority of those are so low that it often leaves for so much to be desired from what a person who wants to make this story better should say, not to mention I don't understand if you were to insult me or others am I supposed to take you serious?
Be honest, if someone insults you even if they want something better, their point is often overshadowed by insults, so hopefully you avoid that. I don't have time to listen to everyone who wants something else from story, a fanfic in the end is a diversion so if you want something very close to original pls just read the original Re: Zero it is a masterpiece. Or if you want something with no crossover elements and purely Re: Zero with same hardcore stuff, read King of Pride(Goated fanfic, but some chaps spinned my mind ngl)
I know this story had a rough start; I will admit it. When I started writing this story, I just wanted a fun story with an OP Subaru, but that doesn't meant I haven't thought of any plot. I had thought of everything courtesy of my overthinking habit, it is just I didn't knew if I were going to implement those story points or just let it be quick dopamine and end it by the arc 7 or arc 8 of the Re: Zero world.
There has been reasons pointed throughout the entire story.
In Failed Loops it had been revealed that Reina loved Subaru before she even met him, so she didn't become yandere out of nowhere. This is also not the timeline where everything is canonical as Reinhardt here is female, but it is also not the completely genderbent timeline of Adelheid, it should be clear by now.
Satella had also pointed out Subaru always had two coloured soul and knew a different version of Flugel who was stronger than by a huge margin as compared to Envy Flugel(That everyone else thinks is original here is Envy Flugel, not our Zero).
I have also been given another hint by letting Subaru awaken two authorities of his own for his every Witch Factor instead of one.
Another hint is him awakening abilities such as Psychic, Aura and Ki which a person who lives in world of Od Laguna cannot have at all.
Another yet hint is his soul being double-coloured.
There will be two arcs taking care of everything why these events are happening.
One will be Fake Sage, which will be prequel of this story.

Another arc will be obviously Flugel Arc which will be coming in future(Coming from next chap for webnovel, explaining further all the established plot points.
If I were to give some sort of spoiler, the Original Flugel, the Fake Sage, Natsuki Subaru, Ayan of Great Sage, Zero(The New Subaru), all are different people yet the same people, this is just how complicated everything is.
Secondly, Re: Zero is masterpiece no doubt but my point of story is not Subaru who takes everything on himself at the cost of his own sanity and dignity. It is fundamentally an anti-thesis of Re: Zero. There had been moral doubts about Re: Zero characters for years, we had fanfics like Re: Forgotten showing cast's worst sides.
My take is simple, every character can be different if given a different choice just like how Subaru makes different choices through timelines and his loops.
Power levels of each characters which also be different from timeline to timeline, but they won't be anything like Outerversal as this is clearly a crossover with other multiverses, and Re: Zero is more of a story with stakes than what powerwankers make of it. Author uses Japanese terms to explain things which get misunderstood when translated, or used as 'Assumptions', by powerwankers. We will just go by what each character has been capable of at each arc or what if story.
Tappei also himself has admitted he has changed Emilia's character design in Arc 3 from initial aloof and smart Emilia he had imagined in arc 1 and arc 2 to much naive and sillier girl we know now.
He has done with other characters, and yes I know Reinhardt knew Subaru could unsheathe his weapon but think about it, he saw how strong Subaru has been from his own eyes, do you think Reinhardt has that kind of character where he will let Subaru to be sliced by Elsa? Leaving out if he is faster than light that should have been impossible, and I cannot think Reinhardt is that selfish of character who will not do his best regardless of what the situation is.
That's an insult to Reinhardt's character, of course it is also true he is a dog to his nation and can kill anyone if ordered, even Subaru.
Leaving out such things, there are also some things about authorities which are not random.
For example Zero's Gluttony of Authority works very clearly. It creates a 'Localized Blackhole', that devours matter then destroys it's previous identity creating it into pure energy, then it is released out by 'Localized Whitewhole', with Subaru deciding what identity to give it, technically it can be mana, ki, aura, psychic or even kinetic energy.
This is based on 'Information Paradox', you can search it on internet. I just adapted stuff from a version of it.
Other authorities are also made with some reasoning behind it.
Subaru's authority of greed that copies other's abilities except Divine Protections, yes the one that copies other's authorities is called 'Soul Mirror'.
His authority basically flashes a conceptual light to the targeted ability, then everything of it is reflected by their original user like a mirror back to Subaru, which he gains permanent access to it, albeit at 50% weaker. Because reflection of light will always have some sort of loss, energy is always lost in every process, reflection is no different.
I am trying to make you understand in simple terms rather than hard definitions.
Also... English is not my first language, I use Ai to correct my grammatical mistakes, then proofread it so there are no canonical or fanonical mistakes, though again my own writing is not perfect, so I always miss or get some stuff wrong.
Lastly, I started writing this fanfic when I was 17, I am 19 rn. Yeah, you were insulting a minor back then so congratulations, I can understand Patreons being somewhat itchy due to plot point they not like as they do pay(My fanfic is not paywalled, you only get advance chaps ahead of public releases and writing takes a lot of time. I cannot just put time into it without having a source of income.)
You also don't know the kind of shit that occur in my own life, I had gone three years of medicine and injections, I had insomnia staying awake for days, I had depression and had to take pills. SO when I write story, I do not accept everyone cheering me, but atleast I accept decency to talk in appropriate language or to just ignore my fanfic if it is really not worth your time, after all you decide what is worth for you.
Regardless, I have decided to ignore most people who hate or insult, and I filter criticism through given in my discord or by my Patreon now(Meaning I won't take criticism from free public websites anymore to save my time). Since if you didn't think much before insulting someone for what they put free on internet without understanding what kind of person they are or assuming their entire mental profile by just a few chapters, I also think it is not worth wasting my time on such criticism, insults or hatred.
It might take you ten minutes to write out such messages, while it takes me one hour asking myself beyond the insults you have given, are they even right?
