Daniel was still sitting under the tree.
His eyes were calmly fixed on the empty space in front of him, but his mind was analyzing every single word of the old man with unnatural speed.
"The destruction of this world…"
"If back then there had been someone like you…"
"That being…"
For the first time in a long while, the silence in his mind was slightly broken.
Because the old man didn't speak like someone who had only seen the future, but rather like a being who had experienced those events.
And that only increased Daniel's doubt. That old man had clearly recognized his true identity.
But how? How did he know who he was? How did he know this world would be destroyed? Is that the power of a divine being?
If his guess was correct, that old man must be a being at the level of a False God. So can a False God have that much power?
Can he see the future and experience it before it even happens?
