Already Decided
Leon glanced at her, one brow raising faintly as a smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth.
"You think I'd force you into roles you don't want?"
Mira huffed lightly. "Wouldn't put it past you."
Rui chuckled. "You do have that 'tyrant king' energy sometimes."
Leon gave them a flat look.
They didn't even try to hide their amusement.
Fey, though—
She didn't laugh.
But her shoulders eased.
Just a little.
Like something inside her had been held tight… and finally loosened.
"But," Leon added—
And just like that, the air shifted again.
The warmth didn't disappear—but it stepped back, making room for something heavier.
Authority.
"If you remain…"
His gaze sharpened, voice steady now—not distant, but firm enough to remind them exactly who stood before them.
"…then you do it properly."
Instinct.
Every single one of them straightened.
Spines aligned. Expressions focused. No hesitation.
They knew that tone.
This wasn't rejection.
This was expectation.
