The Plan with No Flaws
"…No one would be stupid enough to test that," he said, almost amused. Then, after a beat, his eyes flicked toward Leon.
"And if they are… we'll make sure it's the last mistake they make."
Last thing Black felt like doing was smirking. That expression just wasn't necessary.
A sharp dip of his head showed he agreed.
"It will be done."
Right away. Not a pause. Clear on every point.
For just a breath, Leon kept his eyes locked on theirs, checking for any words hanging in silence. Slowly after that, he shifted backward, the tightness across his shoulders softening - still present, yet managed now.
Leon looked satisfied.
It clicked without force. A quiet fit where things just stayed.
Clean.
Simple.
Effective.
Might have had flaws - yet near enough to work without fixing.
And most importantly -
No visible flaw.
A quiet idea, slipping under the radar - simply because nothing about it asked questions. It stayed unnoticed, not by trickery, but by design.
