Having known Yvonne for so long, Zoey knew what she was planning. "The Yanceys are a big family and walls have ears," she reminded Yvonne in a low voice. "Someone might leak today's incident to the Miller family to curry favor them. Just be careful, okay? If you want to pick on someone, make sure you don't get caught."
Yvonne hummed in agreement. "Then, why didn't you stop Kayla back then?"
"Oh, don't act like you don't know. Someone had to back you up."
Yvonne beamed, knowing Zoey had her best interest at heart. "Ha... you are so good to me, Zoey."
She nuzzled Zoey's shoulder, showing the latter her sweet and pliant side unreservedly, looking nothing like the aggressive woman who had chewed Jeanette out earlier.
This incensed Jeanette even more. "Hey, you two!" She raised her voice sharply. "Stop chattering with each other already! When will the doctor be here?"
