The giant eye stayed locked on Kael. It never blinked and never looked away. Even when Kael tried to look away, he could still feel its gaze following him, as if he was the only thing in this world worth noticing.
The pressure pouring from the crack in the sky continued to spread across the forest. Trees bent under the invisible weight, while the ground beneath their feet split apart little by little.
Lunaarie's expression slowly turned serious as her silver eyes moved away from the giant eye and carefully followed the widening crack surrounding it, watching it spread farther across the sky with every passing second.
