A collective sigh of relief was released, but there was also a bit of uncertainty in it. These kinds of oaths were uncertain and inconclusive. There were instances when these oaths had worked, but there were also instances when they hadn't. Due to that, the present people couldn't be sure if there were any Demons or not. The chances were low, but they were not zero.
It was also possible that the oath worked, but that Overlord Cloudhorn's actions didn't count as trying to share intel with a Demon. After all, he might be sharing intel, but he wasn't trying to do it. Whenever oaths involved the actions of other people, it became hard to predict how they would act.
This entire act didn't give them clarity about the presence of Demons. It only reduced the chances that there was one.
