Chapter 224 - Belial Unleashed In The Shattered Void

Another perfect punching bag. Belial grinned, knowing that even a monster form fighting Godzilla might stand a chance, but he was a stacked stat monster with four templates. He unleashed a storm of attacks.

"SpaceDetonation Punch!" "Charged Sword!" "Rapid Bullet Punch!" "God's Hand!"

The two colossal figures clashed in brutal close combat, each over a hundred meters tall. Their speed was beyond sight, with only thunderous air bursts marking their movements. Sky, ground, and even the depths below became their battlefield.

To witness it was terror itself, as space bent like paper and ordinary matter shattered like sandcastles. Again and again, bodies were slammed into the ground, carving meteor-sized craters. Revived once more, Monster X was smashed down and forced to block another descending SpaceDetonation Punch.

Light and heat flared like a nuclear blast, a pillar reaching the sky. Monster X lost most of his upper body, a leg shattered beyond recovery from past timelines. Belial pressed on without pause.

Behind the scenes, Crimson God felt a chill. Just what was this Black Dragon, able to destroy even past fragments of existence. No matter how much power was supplied, the vessel had limits, and Monster X was no match.

It was torn apart like a toy, dying dozens of times by human standards. The cost kept rising, each repair draining power, and even with Authority of Fate forced onward, Bahamut was incomplete. A new choice emerged.

Should they invest even more to fully awaken Bahamut and grasp complete Fate to kill this monster. The hesitation was natural, the price too high after being scammed before. While they hesitated, Belial's fists did not.

He smashed Monster X into pulp again and again, erasing nearly all past fragments. With only an upper torso left, Belial finished it with a casual Spiral Heat Ray. He crushed the chest open and grabbed the Abyssal Rift supplying power.

"So this is the camera and power line," he laughed. "If there is no next phase, you can just die."

He pinned the broken body down and aimed his mouth at the Rift, white light gathering. Before it could fire, he was blasted away once more.

"Crack…"

Bones twisted with eerie sounds as the shattered body convulsed. Black sludge and blood-red light poured out again, raining upward onto itself to rebuild its form. Before it could rise, a storm of violent dragon lightning slammed into Belial, hurling him through space and beyond the world itself.

This shot was a bit stronger than before, and Belial finally took damage that could be called an injury. Compared to the earlier flood of attacks that looked impressive but did nothing, this one felt like a compressed bullet with some real bite. "I have been fighting for so long, and it finally feels like the last stage. I have never dealt with something this annoying before." "...Still, it is not bad at all. Blowing up Three-Headed Dragon Form of King Ghidorah is always satisfying."

Belial beat his wings and held himself steady in this strange space while looking around. It was not like the Void outside, but an endless expanse soaked in a blood-red color. The air felt different from before, mixed not only with the traces of those well-meaning beings, but also countless dead, drifting resentments, spread wide like a winter buried under ash after an explosion.

Chunks of matter floated through the space like an asteroid belt, and he landed on a massive rock. It looked like debris that had been swept flat earlier by the King Ghidorah monster X form during the fight, now gathered here. Before he could settle himself, a huge bolt of dragon lightning slammed down, covering both him and the rock beneath him.

Belial unfolded Photon Reflection Shield to block it, but the rock under his feet vanished completely. That was not the end, as dense waves of lightning locked onto him and kept crashing in without pause. "Roar...!!!"

A sharp cry echoed through the space, not a physical sound but something stranger. Remnants of the Ruins of Fate left behind in Prime World were dragged down, piling together into a landmass like a broken Floating Island island. A massive body wrapped in black sludge smashed onto it, the monster X that had earlier been reduced to pulp.

This place was not the ordinary Void beyond the world, but another blurred and terrifying region, the Edge of the Abyss. Land Where the Sun Gives No Light.

Power beyond imagination surged in, twisting mottled bones together and forcing everything below the neck into a single fused mass. After barely regaining a shape, a newborn claw stepped onto the ground and rapidly expanded, growing sharper talons covered in barbed scales. Light spilled across its body, every inch filled with shattered Shard of time and engraved records of history.

Countless impressions of it were forcibly twisted together by power from the Abyss, and it truly awakened, slowly raising its head. Pain struck, and it roared in fury, lifting three heads as blood-red eyes opened across its faces and bloody tears flowed. Its mouths split wider like sharp beaks, unleashing a roar that shook space and time.

It crouched, its back erupting with rows of sharp bone spines. Two tails stretched out, growing dense spiked maces and blades at their ends. The three heads, symbolizing past, future, and the present, were still forced apart, each neck far longer than the body and gleaming with different metallic hues.

Unconsciously, it spread its vast wings like twisted claws. Invisible force pulled together the remains of its former Divine Kingdom, but what gathered were only broken Shard. Divine Kingdom was dead, hanging inverted over the Abyss.

Those fragments fused under blasphemous distortion, forbidden histories engraved upon them. Shattered clock faces of time filled every corner, pierced by burning, sharp chains. This was beyond the world, a place without time or material definition, where broken Laws were warped into stranger forms.

The dying Fate barely stood again, no longer its former shape. After its roar, everything once recorded reappeared, and a faint sun manifested in the sky. Power spread and stacked into eight massive pillars, forming a ring like an arena and altar, with it at the top.

It spread its wings and screamed. "Roarrrr...!!!"

Its wings blotted out everything as its body expanded into a monster hundreds of meters long. What formed this new region was not just matter, but countless past choices of Fate. From its wing tips poured chaotic dragon lightning made of shattered time and space, swelling in an instant to sizes thousands of times larger than its own body.

Bound by the constraints of Fate and space-time, the lightning dragged along billions of tons of mass into a blazing star cluster. It slammed toward the source that filled it with pain and fear. Like a golden thunder star, vast beyond measure, it crushed down on the tiny, ant-like Black Dragon.

"That is way more over the top than in movies. I just do not know how strong it really is." "Anyway, let us fire a spiral Fusion Reaction Beam first."

Light surged along his back spines as Belial stamped down, excitement flaring. A roaring vibration wave tore forward, shaving away layers of material from the forming mass. A visible vortex of energy formed around him as his body glowed, releasing dazzling light that carried pure destruction.

"Boom!!!"

There was no sound, only a massive shockwave. A white-hot beam, tiny compared to the thunder star, punched into it and exploded on contact. Rock melted into magma and sprayed outward, while inside it cut through the huge body like a hot blade through Gold Rank oil.

The Energy Field spread by Belial rapidly eroded the rock, crystallizing it into Crystal and seizing it for himself. The weakened attack collapsed, dismantled by equal-level Gravity Manipulation into fragments. Those fragments were then sliced apart by Fusion Reaction Beam.

Belial kicked off and charged toward the god atop the arena, dragging several huge Shard fragments bound by heavy gravity. Like a star pulling planets, the rapidly crystallizing rock fragments turned into guided ghost Crystal and smashed toward the massive altar in the sky. At the same time, dragon lightning woven from doomed Fate surged in to intercept, colliding like meteor showers and flooding both sides with destructive light.

Amid it all, a black vortex appeared and swallowed countless white beams. With a flap of his wings, decay thrusters ignited behind Belial, driving him forward at extreme speed. A brilliant golden bloom exploded in the endless Void, not a real flower but layers of dragon lightning firing at him at once, all deflected by his shield.

At last, the godlike Fate could not stay still. Its head, stretching toward the end of space-time, lowered and opened its mouth. "Shaaa—"

Dragon lightning, denser than ever, nearly became a solid beam as it tore through ghost Crystal and struck Belial, splitting into countless fine rays as it was deflected. One head was not enough, and a black flaming meteor smashed into the altar, shattering tall pillars and collapsing nearly a fifth of the arena into dust.

A dark figure burst out and shot into the sky. The three-headed dragon of Fate roared and beat its wings, but it was too late. It took a full hit to the chest from a corona Heat Ray. Fate tried to respond by shifting the attack to another time-space or cutting away the struck timeline, but the result was clear. It did nothing.
