The doppelganger looked at Axel with scathing hatred. Even though he was beaten very badly, his spirit never broke, as he wanted to experience true freedom no matter the cost; he was absolutely unwilling to become the slave of a damned human.
And the human was extremely suspicious; though the creature did not know much about its past, some knowledge was engraved at its core. It knew that no existence should be able to defeat its true doppelganger with such ease. It was not supposed to happen.
There was something fundamentally wrong about it that unnerved even the alien imitator. The creature, in the guise of Axel, gritted his teeth and began to think about the words the runecaster had just said. Could it be true? Was his innate ability not completely able to imitate everything of 'Axel Nomrad'?
Looking at his apathetic, blue, golden runic eyes, he could only try that. The creature closed its eyes, delving deeper into the existence named 'Axel Nomrad'.
