Sophia would destroy hundreds, sometimes thousands, only for another wave to crawl out from between the black rocks and rush towards her.
Despite all her terrifying strength, in this hellish, spiritual landscape of her creation- the lands of Earth that she herself had destroyed with her final mad act within the first trial- the corrupted humans were too many in number.
Especially in this black mountain, it was like a spawning ground; the more she killed, the more abominations there were. The higher she climbed, the more vicious and stronger the corruptions became.
The radioactive humans who attacked her near the base of the mountain were already terrifying, but those higher up were different.
Their bodies were larger.
Their claws were sharper.
Their movements were faster.
Some could even endure the first few attacks of her darkness before finally collapsing.
Sophia's expression remained cold.
She continued climbing.
Every step became a battle.
