A few minutes later, he put the finished talismans down on the table.
"All of them are well made," Chuck said as he looked at Astrea with admiration. "I hate to admit it, but they're even better than the ones I made. I didn't know you were this talented, Astrea."
Hearing the young man's praise finally made Astrea breathe a sigh of relief. She then placed her hands on her hips and raised her chin with arrogance.
"There's nothing I can't do if I put my heart and mind into it," Astrea declared in response.
Chuck chuckled at her words. He could somewhat imagine Dim Dim suddenly appearing on top of Astrea's head and raising its body while saying "Ahem!"
In his mind, both the young lady and the little bun looked as if they were asking to be praised more.
Unfortunately, Chuck had no time to praise the two. Three hundred and fifty talismans were still waiting to be made, so he needed to return to work.
