Chapter 614 - Chapter 604: Admiration of a God

"Eva, let's go find Aven. I can already sense his presence."

At that moment, Uxie suddenly spoke. It could no longer contain its eagerness to meet Aven.

"Alright, let's go meet Prince Aven," Eva said, this time without hesitation.

She had originally intended to judge the development of the Aspiration City territory through her own observations, but everything she had seen had already completely overturned her original views.

Especially this Pokémon Domain—it was utterly different from any other land. She could feel the vitality filling this city. The existence of Trainers gave it limitless potential.

"Let's go. Aven is already waiting for us."

Uxie nodded and directly activated teleportation.

In the next instant, Eva's figure vanished from the Pokémon Battle Arena and reappeared at the Trainer Academy. On the desk in the office, three cups of flower tea were neatly placed.

Sensing a familiar wave of energy, Aven looked over and immediately saw Eva and Uxie appear in the room.

"Uxie, we meet again."

"And you as well… the Lord of Wisdomhall City, who has traveled a long way."

"Hello, I'm Aven. It's a pleasure to meet you." Aven stepped forward, smiling as he extended his hand.

Eva glanced at the hand Aven offered, slightly surprised. After a moment's thought, she reached out and shook it, then bowed politely. "Greetings, Prince Aven. I am Eva, the Lord of Wisdomhall City."

Her gaze then moved around the study before finally settling on the books placed on the desk. Since this was the Trainer Academy, the books were naturally all related to Trainers and Pokémon.

The moment she saw them, Eva found it difficult to look away. Her thirst for knowledge drove her instinctively to the desk, where she picked up a book and began reading.

"Pokédex Handbook… Type effectiveness chart… Move list…" Just a glance at the table of contents was enough to completely draw her in. She unconsciously began flipping through the pages.

Uxie floated over to Eva's side and perched on her shoulder, its gaze also fixed on the books. Even its usually calm expression now showed astonishment as it, too, became immersed in the texts.

Watching the Lord of Wisdomhall City and Uxie, Aven smiled faintly and did not interrupt them. These books were teaching materials meant to be public, after all—they carried the knowledge of the future world.

This knowledge represented thousands of years of accumulated understanding and refinement from the future Pokémon world. Even Uxie, the God of Wisdom, felt an immense gain from it, its spirit undergoing a subtle elevation.

One could see dense waves of psychic energy surging from Uxie's body, and within that power, the radiance of wisdom grew ever stronger.

As time passed, it seemed that even a single Pokédex Handbook was no longer enough for Uxie. Its body slowly floated into the air, and at the same time, all the books in the room began to levitate as well.

They hovered in midair, pages flipping rapidly as Uxie continuously absorbed the knowledge within them. Brilliant light of wisdom filled the entire room.

"Lilli—!"

"Lass—!"

"Gardevoir!"

Lilligant, Froslass, and Gardevoir stared in shock at the scene before them.

Among them, Gardevoir had the strongest control over psychic power and could clearly sense the surging energy around them.

After a moment's thought, it cautiously extended its psychic power to touch the light of wisdom.

In an instant, it discovered that it had faintly established a connection with Uxie. Its psychic power, which already carried traces of Azelf's influence, seemed to slowly begin accepting Uxie's power as well.

Uxie naturally noticed Gardevoir's actions, but it did not stop it. After all, it had already gained benefits from Aven, and it did not mind bestowing some benefits upon Gardevoir in return.

Moreover, it was also very interested in Aven's Pokémon. They had all been carefully trained by Aven and were themselves products of knowledge and wisdom, capable of helping it better understand the path of Pokémon cultivation.

Time passed quickly, and Eva finally turned to the very last page of the book.

She closed the volume in her hands, an expression of lingering fascination appearing on her face. The information recorded within this book was simply far too captivating for her.

She had never imagined that there could be so many secrets hidden within Pokémon. In truth, Pokémon themselves were indeed the most inconceivable beings in this world.

Moreover, explanations such as attribute restraint relationships and the descriptions of traits had completely constructed the framework of Pokémon studies. Even now, just recalling it all made her feel waves of dizziness stirring in her mind.

She lifted her head and looked at Aven with a startled gaze, unable to imagine how he had come to know all of this. Could it be that his wisdom surpassed even her own?

"Finished reading it? How do you feel?" Aven asked with a smiling expression.

Hearing this, Eva froze for a moment, then let out a small "Ah," finally realizing her own impropriety. She had picked up the book and begun reading it on her own without even asking for Aven's permission.

"I'm sorry, Prince Aven," Eva said with an embarrassed look on her face. "I was completely absorbed."

"It's fine. These books are meant to be teaching materials anyway. Students at the school can read them freely," Aven replied indifferently. "So, how do you feel?"

"How do I feel?" Eva let out a breath. "I have far too many feelings. It's even caused my understanding of Pokémon, which I've held for so long, to undergo earth-shaking changes."

"Besides that, everything I've seen in Aspiration City… all of it proves the power of Pokémon. Relying on Pokémon to change the world is by no means empty talk."

Eva carefully weighed her words, her tone carrying an irrepressible admiration. Her gaze remained fixed on the Pokédex Handbook before her, feeling that there was still far, far too much for her to learn.

"To change the world with the power of Pokémon, to create a world where humans and Pokémon coexist in harmony—this is my goal, and it will never change," Aven replied with a smile.

After hearing his words, even Uxie turned its head. After a brief moment, it nodded slightly. As expected of the human acknowledged by Azelf—this was someone who could truly resonate with Azelf's heart.

At this point, it even felt a bit envious of Azelf. With the knowledge Aven possessed, it was more than enough to earn its own recognition. But since he was the one chosen by Azelf, it felt somewhat embarrassed to try and take him away.

"If you want to understand the relationship between Pokémon and productivity, you can take a look at this book," Aven said with a smile as he handed over another volume.

The establishment of the Trainer Academy was naturally not meant solely to cultivate powerful Trainers. Many other forms of talent related to Pokémon industries also needed to be developed.

Moreover, the reason he had come to the Trainer Academy this time was to open courses for Pokémon Breeders. At present, there were no outstanding Pokémon Breeders within the territory, so many of the classes required him to teach personally.

He did not resent this situation at all. On the contrary, he felt somewhat eager about it. After all, this was the dissemination of Pokémon Breeder knowledge and passing on what he had learned—and to him, it carried tremendous significance.

"Alright, th-thank you," Eva's eyes lit up as she took the book, already eager to examine its contents.

"This book can be read slowly, Princess Eva. It's already quite late. Let me first fulfill my duties as a host," Aven suggested with a smile.

At the same time, Eva's stomach conveniently let out a small growl. She laughed awkwardly and nodded at Aven, realizing as well that with so many books, it was impossible for her to finish them all in such a short time.
