Luke Land was pacing back and forth in the hall, the butler beside him seemed to have figured out the source of Luke Land's anxiety.
"Second Young Master, Young Madam..."
Before the butler's words landed, a car's headlights lit up in the dark night outside.
"Second Young Master, Young Madam is back." The butler walked to the hall entrance to take a look, and sure enough, it was Eva Miller stepping out of the car.
Luke Land finally felt relieved, he had initially thought she was playing a runaway game with him.
"Little Chili, where have you been all day?" He walked up to her, looked down at her, and only then noticed her eyes were red, as if she had been crying.
"I'm sorry, I'm an asshole, I shouldn't have deceived you."
"You've already lied, and now you're saying this? Don't you think it's too late for that?" Eva Miller walked past him without giving him a glance, heading upstairs. Luke Land sighed helplessly and still followed her.
