Steven Cooper left, and as Nicole watched him go, the faint smile on her face disappeared. She turned around and walked towards Jose Floyd, her expression cold as frost.
"Jose Floyd, what exactly are you trying to do?"
Jose Floyd didn't answer. Instead, he returned to his car, took a bottle of mineral water from inside, leaned against the hood, and coldly tossed the water to Nicole. His voice was ice-cold: "Wash your hands clean! The hand he held, you'd better wash it clean for me! Otherwise, I don't mind helping you!"
Nicole caught the mineral water.
She twisted it open.
Washed her hands.
Then looked up at Jose Floyd, "Are you satisfied? They're squeaky clean."
From her understanding of him, if she had no desire for more interaction, she should just comply and complete what he wanted, to hopefully let him leave her alone.
