The scene of that first encounter in the past, along with the whisper of 'Jose' echoed in his mind, playing out in Jose Floyd's brain.

"What's your name?" Young Jose Floyd sat on the leather sofa, glancing at the rows of girls before him. Among them, a frail, trembling figure caught his eye, and he asked coldly.
The slender girl dared not lift her head, her body trembling more, evidently in great fear.
"Come over here." Three icy words, devoid of warmth, his gaze was like that of a soaring eagle in the sky, aloof and chilly, instilling dread.
The girl shuffled closer, gradually, her whole body shaking, her white dress swayed slightly together, like the jasmine flowers ravaged by a storm, weak and helpless, evoking pity.
"Tell me, what's your name?" Jose Floyd asked, gazing coldly at the person standing close in front of him.
"I'm called... Nicole. Shallow and Deep, Tide and Wave..." The girl's voice was tiny, with a quiver, evidently frightened.
