"What about the security guard?!" Dawn Sutherland's eyes turned exceptionally deep as he looked at Arlo Seys and asked.
"He was taken away and given a sum of money to his wife, with instructions not to speak out. This security guard must have secrets," Arlo Seys replied. "I had someone investigate the hotel, and the CCTV footage from that night was tampered with, edited. Something must have happened at the party that we don't know about, and it might soon come to light. Dawn, what do you think about Daisy Grant? Or can you guess why she might be involved?"
Dawn Sutherland's lips revealed a bitter smile, his voice low: "I want to know why too, maybe we're right, it's about the father of her child!"
The scene by the roadside flashed through Dawn's mind, watching her get into a car with a man, an inexplicable panic and unease swelling in his heart.
