"By the way, there's an agreement I left for Second Brother on the desk in the study. Please have him sign it."
"Okay, Miss."
Donna helped Daisy Grant carry her suitcase out.
Outside, Ricky Brooke's car was already parked there.
Donna put the suitcase in the trunk, waved at Daisy Grant in the passenger seat, a bit reluctant: "Miss, come back soon."
"Alright." Daisy Grant smiled faintly, turned her head to look at her home, her eyes turning an ever deeper red.
This was the home she shared with her parents, but now they were gone, leaving her alone.
She and Second Brother had spent some sweet times in this house; now those happiness felt like shattered bubbles that couldn't be held onto.
Daisy Grant looked at the house and said hoarsely: "Cousin, let's go."
She had to leave here, leave this city, so as not to let herself be sad and disappointed.
Ricky Brooke drove Daisy Grant to catch the flight at the airport.
