Nicole lifted her gaze, wiped the tears from her face, and placed the phone to her ear, waiting for the other side to pick up.
The phone rang three times before it was quickly answered, Jose Floyd's deep and indifferent voice came through, "Do you need something from me?"
Nicole struggled to maintain her composure and softly called out with a calm tone, "Jose Floyd."
"Mmm, just say whatever you have to say." The voice on the other end was calm, not particularly cold.
Nicole pressed her lips together, her eyes deep red, and after a long silence, she spoke in a low voice, "Did you buy the saffron?"
She didn't believe Andrea Greenwood's words, because she knew Andrea was a person with a deep mind, so she wanted to ask him.
Ultimately, she still wasn't willing to give up, was she? Nicole laughed at herself in her heart.
There was a pause on the other end, then a single word came back, "Yes."
