Andrea Greenwood called out but received no answer from inside, so she gently pushed the door open.
The sharp smell of alcohol hit her face, making Andrea frown as she stepped inside.
On the balcony, Jose Floyd stood beneath the late-night stars, holding a bottle of whiskey and sipping from a wine glass, with shards of empty bottles scattered at his feet.
"Brother Jose, it's very late now, please stop drinking and have some soup." Andrea approached, her voice soft and gentle.
Jose Floyd didn't even spare Andrea a glance, his attention entirely on the alcohol.
Remembering Olivia Summer's words, Andrea mustered the courage to approach Jose Floyd, reaching for the bottle in his hand to take it away.
Jose Floyd's gaze momentarily glazed over, as he grabbed Andrea's hand and softly called out, "Nicole."
Andrea's hand froze in mid-air, stopping in front of Jose Floyd, his voice calling her that name echoed in her ears.
