Ariel Morris looked up to see Jose Floyd's car.
Ariel Morris smiled slightly and got into the car with the three children.
"Uncle, Uncle, why are you here? It's been a long time. Did you miss me?" Ryan Seys hadn't seen Jose Floyd for a long time and was exceptionally excited, shouting as soon as he got into the car.
Jose Floyd was momentarily dazed by the shout of 'Uncle.' The driver behind honked to remind him to drive, bringing him back to his senses. He started the car and replied to Ryan in a calm tone, "I didn't expect you to be so grown up already."
If he and Nicole's first child were still alive, they would be this age too.
The loss of two children and Nicole was the lifelong pain he carried.
Ariel Morris detected the sadness in his words and felt a bit heartbroken, so she quickly changed the topic, "This kid is just randomly calling out. Don't take it to heart. By the way, Jose Floyd, why are you waiting outside instead of leaving?"
