"Mr. Lu." Gu Yan smiled without warmth, his starry eyes filled with a gloomy, vicious chill.
"Mr. Gu suddenly shows up at my door. Is there something you need?" Lu Zhiquan put both hands in his pockets, clearly with no intention of inviting Gu Yan in.
Gu Yan glanced past him into the apartment, tugged his lips into a cold smile. "I came to K City for some business, and it occurred to me that Mr. Lu is a K City native. Mr. Lu and I are old acquaintances, after all. It just felt a bit inappropriate to come all the way here and not drop by Mr. Lu's home for a sit-down."
