Mrs. Jiang and the others hadn't eaten yet and had been waiting for Jiang Xue and Mu Qiancheng. Seeing them return, she instructed Niu to heat the dishes.
After dinner, Jiang Xue played with her son for a while, then went to the study to do her coursework. Although university assignments aren't many, each requires a lot of research.
Luckily, the study had plenty of books, and with a computer there, researching became much easier.
Close to midnight, Jiang Xue finally finished her coursework and shut down the computer. Meanwhile, Mu Qiancheng hadn't gone to bed, reading in the room while waiting for Jiang Xue.
After waiting until midnight, Mu Qiancheng was just about to urge his wife to rest when he saw Jiang Xue coming over.
"Finished?" Mu Qiancheng stood up to greet his wife. Seeing her exhausted face, he felt sorry and said, "Don't stay up so late in the future. If you can't finish it right away, you can always do it another day."
