Jiang Xue thought to herself while reading the memories of the assassins, and quickly located the target.
After noting down the location, the memories of the assassins soon faded. Just then, a series of footsteps reached Jiang Xue's ears.
Hearing the footsteps, Jiang Xue looked up and saw a man and a woman walking towards her. Seeing the visitors, Jiang Xue did not speak, merely looked at them calmly, as she didn't know them. It wasn't until they stopped in front of her, smiling and asking, "Are you Jiang Xue?"
"That's me!" Jiang Xue nodded and then asked the two, "And you are?"
"We are Mr. Lan's subordinates. We heard something happened here, so we came to take a look," the woman said with a smile to Jiang Xue. Her name was Bai Lan, and she was Mr. Lan's assistant. She had not been in the department before, so she hadn't met Jiang Xue. However, upon returning, she had heard quite a bit about Jiang Xue and was very interested in her.
